It's a place where you can feel the real life in Nepal. Don't miss the dinner - they serve local food with rice and vegetables that they grow themselves. It's also the best time to meet the other guests of the hostel. Owners are very nice and helpful, you can ask them for advice about anything. The street is noisy and not exactly close to the touristic places. On the other hand it's much closer to the airport than the hostels in Thamel.

The hotel needs much better description. It looks easy to find on the map but not when you really start searching for it. The rooms are very clean, there is good breakfast included in the price and nice garden. The neighborhood is very quiet and good place to stay outside of the city noise.

Our room was in the building that isn't yet finished so it was cold at night. Other than this, it's the best place we visited in Nepal. The room has everything, perfectly clean, the views are great. Good breakfast is included in the price and you can also have lunch and dinner in the restaurant.

There is good restaurant on the top terrace with good food and decent prices. It closes a bit early - about 9 PM. At the same time the door of the hostel is closing. There was a bottle of mineral water waiting for us in the room which is great when you come from a trip. The directions to the hostel could be better - it has a great location but without clear instructions we lost 30 minutes to find it. The hostel is located in the protected area of Bhaktapur so there is an entry fee of $15.

The owner is very cool, gives you advice how to spend your time better, and takes care for everything. There is really good breakfast served in the morning. The location is good just at the edge of Thamel. There is drinking water on each floor. Good terraces.

Very nice staff. Can't say the same about the room however - really small, very wet and not very clean. The location is good - Taxim is live even in the night with lots of places to eat etc. The hostel was a bit hard to find.

Excellent location and a very clean hostel. Comfortable beds, good bathroom, enough space in the room. The only problem was there was no heating and the room was a bit cold in November.

Thank you very much for your great review! We are happy that you enjoyed your stay in Berlin with. It is correct that we had problems with our heating in November, but everthing is working again now ;-) We are looking forward seeing you again at MEININGER.

OK place for the money. A bit confusing for 1st time visitors

Owner Comment (Hide)
Hey there, thanks for the feedback. We are currently looking at getting a bit more signage on the hostel to help guests find their way around. For a small hostel it can be quite confusing at first. Aside from this we hope everything else has been good. Good luck with the rest of your travels and if you are ever about come a say hi! Cheers, The St Christopher's team.

Excellent place to stay, rooms are big, beds are comfortable. There is a sink in the room and shared bathroom.

We were in the small room (not in the apartment). More things to note: 1. The owner Guntar is very nice guy full with interesting stories and can help you with information about places in Iceland 2. Hafnarfjordur itself is a very interesting small town and definitely worth a visit. It's also very close to Reykjavik - you can go there by city bus 3. The price is very low for Iceland. Even if you need to travel daily to Reykjavik you can save a lot. Highly recommended!

Good hostel with great location. The room has everything that you need although it's small. The bed could be more comfortable (it's small and has hard mattress).

The best hostel we have visited so far - no just in Georgia but everywhere. Thanks Irakli, hope we may come back some day :)

Very good and clean hostel, large rooms and comfortable beds. A tasty and abundant breakfast every morning. The only problem we've experienced was that hot water was not always available.

Friendly staff and good location. Toilets could be in better condition however (there were broken seats etc). OK hostel for its price but it's not the best we've seen in Tbilisi.

The Wi-fi in rooms was non-existent. The room was comfortable although it could have at least some more hangers. This is not the typical hostel for a traveller - there is no self-service kitchen, not even a place to make yourself a tea. We couldn't even buy tea in the evening.

Very nice place and people. They made us huge and tasty breakfast, took care for everything, even secured our luggage after we left the room so we didn't have to bring it all the way with us. The rooms are clean and large, the location is perfect and you can get useful information about maps, directions and more from the owners. The place is very calm and the owners take care not to make noise when you sleep - perfect for people who want recharge. Highly recommended! (Bob & Dani from Bulgaria)

1. There was no internet connection in the rooms or in the lobby although the hostel is advertised to have such. 2. It was noisy all the time - people go around all night, speaking loudly, screaming, shutting doors 3. The canal in the bathroom was blocked and it was almost impossible to take a shower. This place might be OK if you want to have late night fun and meet other visitors in the lobbies. It's definitely not a good place if you want to sleep or take a bath.
