The Backpack is a nice hostel, if you try to avoid staying in Longstreet, but still want to have a close hostel to Longstreet.

Red Nest Hostel Valencia

During the night no common room (it is locked). The kitchen is not locked. Squeaking beds (at least in my room), so very annoying! Extra fee for internet (1 € per hour), the internet is slow. The location is very good. A big supermarket is very close (2.min. walking / El Corte Ingles).

Black Cat Hostel

Asuncion, Paraguay

The only hostel in Asuncion has a really friendly atmosphere. It is located downtown to all important spots, it is clean and the owner (mother and daughter run the hostel) know more than in the official tourist information. I would always come back to this hostel. If you considering living in another hotel in the city, just don't!
