Hostel 5 Terre

Hostel 5 Terre was great! It's located in my favourite of the towns, Manarola. The hostel meets all your basic needs - the bunk bed was comfy, lockers are provided (bring your own lock), and the bathrooms are clean. There's a great little cafe/restaurant on the main floor where you can buy coffee or a meal (and both are really good!) and a patio with great views of the town and sea. And Ricardo - one of the reception staff - is one of the friendliest people you're ever going to meet!

I had a great time at Orsa. The location - in the heart of Trastevere - has a fantastic neighbourhood feel and is a great vantage point from which to explore all of Rome. The staff (both reception and cleaning) were incredibly helpful and are always willing to tell you the best way to navigate Rome and to give you recommendations of the best things to see and places to eat. It's clean and safe and has really good energy. Women only was a bonus!
