First, they didn't have the reservation in their computers even through I had a confirmation from hostelworld.com. They still had a room for a slightly higher rate. Then: Clean is something different. The carpet as well as the chairs all had those stains from stuff that male people sometimes eject all over. The bed had a simple plastic foil below the sheets and the mattress, the bathroom had hair from the previous generations. OK for a 0-star motel, but nothing else.

Very nice and exceptionally clean hostel in the medina of Meknes. Great and helpful staff, great breakfast (served as always in Marocco). Only the optional dinner was good but overpriced for Maroccan prices (130 DH = about 13 EUR per person, tea not included).

Nice hostel in a riad in the center of old Marrakech. The location is perfect, although it's a bit hard to find at first (don't expect any big signs on the street). The free (served) breakfast is great. For all the good things, there are two bad things as well: all rooms head towards the inner courtyard, which is also the "living room", so expect it to be loud (bring some earplugs). We also didn't get fresh sheets, but that was corrected when we asked for it.
