The place seemed fine, the beds were comfortable and there is electronic locks on the doors. The showers well full of sand which in understandable at a beach hostel but it seemed like it hadn't been cleaned for days. The breakfast is only served till 9am which is an apple and a granola bar. On arrival you are supposed to be offered a welcome beverage and told about breakfast times but I wasn't. The hostel was ok but not my favourite. I just got a meh feeling from the staff I guess

Loved it loved it. I am still here actually, stayed longer than we had planned because the staff were at,ing such good care of us...and by that I mean getting us into as much mischief as possible two meals a day, clean, fun..it was recommended to me and I would recommend it to everybody else. Thanks for everything Paddy, Brian and Amy..sorry for all the nakedness.

the place is a dump the staff were not helpfulice or friendly..they were rude and demanding and there are rules all over the walls about talking at certain times about cooking food about everthing we did not feel welcome for a moment we stayed one night and left. they practically barked at us when we used the washing machines even tho we sid we were paying for it. they told our friend to be quiet when she was so ill she could not stop coughing!! i dont think anyone should go there...EVER

Dear Erin, We would like to aplogise if you feel this way and that you think the staff were rude. We have showed your review to the staff and spoke to them about it. They did not know you felt this way, you checked out and never said anyhting to the any of the staff!! One of our staff memebrs is in fact having a hard time of life at the moment but he has been a loyal and excellent employee for us, and we feel we should reward his loyalty, although sometimes he can be grouchy, he has been for a long time a popular guy to all of our guests. There is no cooking in the kitchen after 11pm as we have deal with the neighbours, the rules are on the wall for a reason and that is purely to stop drunken guests wanting to cook when they return in the early hours of the morning this has happened on may occasions and id unfair on the staff, neighbours and fellow sleeping guests. I think to call the hostel a dump though is very unfair and we sincerly try our best to keep the place clean. I would like to thnak Hostelworld for giving hostels like ours an oppurtuntity to defend ourselves! WE ARE TRYING OUR BEST!
