The staff were very friendly, and the location was amazing - it is really just a block and a half from Wrigley Field. Great neighborhood, plenty to do, and a really nice hostel. The only thing I would recommend are ear plugs if you are going to try to sleep when some of the guests are still awake - the walls/doors are super thin.

We love how the staff show you to your room! We know it sounds silly, but it makes a huge difference knowing where to go when you've got your luggage on your back. We also really liked how far they took the theme - they paid attention to little details and we got a kick out of that!

This place had the most character out of anywhere we stayed during our three week holiday. It was almost like staying at a friend's house instead of in a hostel...everyone was very comfortable and friendly. The only thing we didn't like was that there was no where to lock our luggage - although it wasn't needed.

We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the activities provided as well as the mix of people in the hostel. The only thing we were disappointed in was the security doors being left open all night. Although you had to use your key to get the elevator up to the 2nd or 3rd floor, the door to the stairs was continually open.

Perfect break from sharing a bathroom and room with strangers, but only for a night or two since it's so far away.
