My second trip to Portugal (my first was Lisbon), and the second amazing Portuguese hostel. Very friendly staff and a comfortable bed, but the best thing was the location, right between the bus station and city centre. Highly recommend

Interestingly set inside the Olympic Stadium, it's a fair hike (half an hour?) from the train station and city centre, but a pleasant stroll along one straight road. LOADS of helpful info about Helsinki in the foyer, this is very much designed by travellers, for travellers. The rooms, despite lots of beds, are spacious, and there are kitchen and common-room facilities. Although the adjacent Olympic tower was closed when I was there, you get a 40% discount if booked through the hostel.

Quite far out but less than 30 seconds walk from the streetcar, the longest wait I had for one towards Bourbon Street was about 2 minutes! Fantastic vibe at India House, plenty of common space for socialising, and plenty of storage for food. Rooms have lockers (though you need your own padlock) and don't feel cramped. Staff very friendly, offering cheap breakfast every morning and numerous tours are advertised at the front desk. Would highly recommend for a few nights on a budget in NOLA
Extremely helpful staff who waited for me past the reception open time as my flight from New York was delayed by 2 hours. Interesting set-up but very homely, was in a 12-man dorm but this was sub-divided into 3 rooms of 4, which was nice. Half hour walk from Bourbon St but down a very well lit road, I never once felt unsafe and didn't use a single Streetcar whilst I stayed at the Marquette. Pleasant double courtyard area as well with vending machines.
One of the best hotels I've stayed in, catering for travellers on a budget. 100 yards from the busiest square in Africa yet you wouldn't know it from the peaceful comfort of your room. Would happily recommend, was very impressed
Really enjoyed the two nights I've had here. 2 metro stops or a 15 minute walk from the Old Town, and some of the most helpful hostel staff I've ever encountered on my travels. I certainly know where I'm going to stay if ever I return to Bucharest!
Location is excellent, less than 5 minutes walk from the Palace and the stations; the staff are brilliant, very informative when you check in, giving you a map and highlighting particular restaurants/sights; the only thing that let this down were the dozen bites i woke up with on my leg :(
Very well located, near the central bus and train stations, helpful staff and nice clean rooms with decent facilities. Plus, though i didnt have any myself, they also offer free pasta in the downstairs kitchen area, always a bonus!
Really enjoyed my time in Atlanta, Suzie and her hostel staff were very helpful, definately recommended. Only thing is the squeky beds!
great location in central PTA, has a small public bar attached to it, good fun and recommended!
cant be beaten for location, matresses a little hard tho, but got good sleeps there so wasnt too much of an issue
cant be beaten on location, in the heart of town a minutes walk from the gate complex; needs security lockers in rooms to get top marks tho
great location near the station, friendly staff and comfortable beds make this one of the better hostels i have stayed in
Good location, a mere 10-minute tram ride from cental station, and less than 5-mins walk from the natural history museum, friendly staff and communal areas which encourage interaction make this a very worthy hostel to stay in
very good hostel just north of the main tourist centre, 5 mins walk from the cathedral. a hostel befitting of one of europe's prettiest cities!
a fantastic hostel in terms of location and meeting people, cheap beer, cheap bottled water and soft drinks, and free food (first come, first served) all make it one of the best hostels i have stayed in! would recommend to anyone
AWESOME! the best hostel i have ever stayed at. friendly staff who encourage interaction yet are happy to leave you to do your own thing, and an easy 20-minute stroll to downtown and 'honky tonk row'. anyone who stays in this delightful, buzzing city should seriously look into staying at this hostel
nice budget hotel roughly equidistant from gare du nord and moulin rouge, very handy if arriving by eurostar. only 2 minute walk to nearest metro, choice of about 4 in several directions from hotel. nice enough rooms, bit dark but lovely and clean, esp. en-suite shower/toilets
large, clean hostel, cannot argue with the location. very impressed
