Great hostel, quiet, and excellent breakfasts. Very friendly staff. And you know people won't pile in drunk at 4 in the morning. One of the few 'good sleeps' in Amsterdam. Highly recommended.
Girl who checked me in was rather rude, but the hostel is nice. Labyrinthine, with a cozy downstairs bar.
Interesting place. The hostel was nice, spread over two floors, and in a lovely area. Unfortunately I had terrible roommates, talking and laughing until 1am with lights on, even when I asked to turn them off. Some bed-hopping as well. But the staff seemed friendly.
Lovely staff, and cute downstairs -- though the bed set-up is terrible, with your neighbour snoring in your ear... But good location.
Not recommended. Room door wouldn't close, staff apathetic; the girls were having a good time joking with each other and singing while checking me in, but barely even looked at me. But central location, and with good shower facilities.
It seems to have had a clean-up since I last stayed -- much nicer now! Shepherds Bush is a great area, and this hostel is a decent place, excellent for the money. Recommended, even if the three-tier beds are a bit sketchy...
The worst hostel I've stayed in. I was waiting at the bar for nearly an hour as no-one would check me in, always saying ''someone will be with you soon"--but nobody did. There was a male in my female-only dorm. The music from downstairs was overwhelming, the bed was shaking with vibrations, and it went on until 2:30 in the morning. Couldn't sleep, even with earplugs. Kitchen was filthy, and lots of long-termers lived there. It's a shame, really, as Brixton is a great area. But don't stay here.
Incredibly comfortable beds and friendly staff. Lots of long-term stayers though. Good location, near museums, and great kitchen facilities.
This was a pretty good hostel. Beds were clean and comfortable, but my group was staying in the basement, where the ventilation wasn't working so the room became quite stuffy. No windows either, and the tube running near us every few minutes. Still, Keystone's in a great location near all sorts of transport, and the common room was nice and airy with windows for walls.
This was a pretty good hostel, with unfaltering cleanliness and a helpful staff. Not much by the way of kitchen facilities -- and there was a toilet right next to my bed, which kept me up as people used it throughout the night, but the beds were clean and VERY comfortable. Nice area as well, just a hop to Rembrandtplein and Spui. I'd definitely stay here again.
Great hostel with excellent staff. The overnight receptionist was very obliging when my we asked to change rooms at 2am because of an intolerable snorer next to us. So yes, the beds squashed beside one another with a bit of metal between are not the best if your neighbour is noisy, but the hostel itself is great, with a cute common room, a good kitchen, and an ample breakfast--and, of course, lovely staff. Thanks!!
Top hostel; I stayed here with family and we were upgraded to a private room. Not a lot of ventilation in the room itself, but the hostel was great, with winding corridors and a number of common rooms!
Huge hostel with loads of space to sit, eat, or wander around in. Reception was friendly and, of course, the hostel perfectly located for anyone interested in London's finest museums!
Like its sister-hostel, this is a fantastic night's sleep. It's clean and has nearly every amenity, including hairdryers! I'd love to stay again, if their summer rates weren't so expensive...
Staff here are really friendly, but the three-level beds are a bit of a hassle to get up and off of--especially at night. Nevertheless, the hostel comes well-recommended!!

Dare I say the best hostel in London? In a beautiful building with red carpets, plenty of space, croissants for breakfast, personal curtains across the beds, and electrical outlets everywhere, I will definitely be staying here again.
The hostel was clean and warm, and the staff quite accommodating - especially that nice fellow who checked me in. I would definitely stay here again!
The hostel was clean, bright, and comfortable. The showers are especially commendable, warm and powerful!
The hostel was pretty good; well-located and clean. There were a number of outlets, a perk hostels sometimes don't have! I'd definitely stay here again.
A clean hostel close to the city centre. Beds were incredibly comfortable -- although the doors slammed easily. I would stay here again.
A nice hostel, very clean. A lot of showers available, and consistent hot water. Neat balcony area, and comfortable beds. I would stay here again!
A good hostel with excellent kitchen facilities and a nice breakfast. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Would stay again!
It was a nice enough hostel, although the woman who checked me was a bit... grumpy. The city centre dies down after 6pm, and so the area feels kind of creepy. Warm showers though, so that redeems the place.
Staff were busy but handled the stress impressively and with a smile. Room was stuffy with so many people, but clean. Only one computer with internet, and there was always a line. Paddy\'s Palace is a great chain though, they come across as wanting you to have a great time. And the airport shuttle was fantastic at 5am!!
A lovely clean hostel, very family-friendly. The staff were quite curt and business-like, but helpful enough. It\'s not in the centre of the city, so expect a tram-ride or a bit of a walk - or explore the surrounding area, it\'s nicer than the downtown!
Far from the centre, but located in a nice enough area. Free internet was quite handy, although some people would take hours irrespective of those waiting in line. Breakfast had honeydew melon - a luxury!
Well-located, but staff often seemed annoyed at being bothered by guests. Expensive internet and no kitchen, which is a definite inconvenience for a backpacker on the cheap. Breakfast was good though, a lot of selection and a cute attendant!
One of the best hostels I\'ve stayed at! Clean, central, unique, with great and attentive staff! Even the breakfast blew me away - Bernard Callebaut chocolate slabs for toast!! Highly recommended.
Biggest complaint for everyone seemed to be the bathroom/shower combo. Nowhere to put your clothes without getting them wet, and the door didn\'t close. Breakfast was GREAT though - pancakes, sausage, toast, anything, everything and more!
Friendly doorman, free beer, and free internet were the highlights - huge, loud groups of party-goers on their May getaway was a little less fun. They crowded out the kitchen at breakfast, the showers and bathrooms to do their hair etc... A wonderful hostel (with really fun decor!), but perhaps not for the solo traveller.
I got lost trying to find the hostel, as it is close to the train station but a bit of a walk from the centre - a lovely amble through town though. The room was immaculately clean and even themed! A cool haven after a long day's adventuring in Halle!
Great staff, very helpful. In a prime location just outside the centre, quiet yet with easy access to everything. Nice mix of guests, too. Highly recommended!
The hostel was nice, but the area was shady - I was hollered at most every time I came and went. Trams running at night were quite loud as well, so it wasn't a comfortable sleep. The hostel was clean though, and the hammocks in the backyard were a fun way to swing away the afternoon!
Lovely location, just a quick tube or bus ride from the centre of London. Croissants for breakfast and comfortable beds! A really aesthetic hostel in a lovely area, I would recommend it to anyone staying in London.
I had a bag of candy beside me as I slept, and when I awoke, a mouse had left a hole where it ate away through the plastic. Loud, but that\'s to be expected from the area.
Close to the bus station and LUAS, but quite loud as a result. Staff seemed bored with hostellers, and understandably, as there were many rowdy groups staying there at the time. Nice enough for the cost.
