Kentish Rooms

London, England

Nice room and spacious enough to stay for some nights. No breakfast, but tea & coffee making facilities and good cafés & bakery just around the corner on high street. Two minutes to tube is fantastic, and now we know how it looks behind the main road. Very nice area to sit outside all night, weather permitting! Good shopping facilities until 11 pm very close. The host Livia was very kind and helpful with any advice, although we didn't see her again after checking in, but lives one floor up.

St George Hotel

London, England

Had the smallest (single) room in my life ever, maybe 4-6 m². Hardly more space than required for bed and furniture, loo on the floor, shower one floor up, but both exclusively for me. But I loved it, exactly what I needed to put my head to a rest for the night. A small breakfast is being served on the tray to the door as there is no room for a breakfast room or lounge. Helpful and friendly staff 24 h, working Wi-Fi, great location, just 3 minutes to the tube, some good Restaurants very close!

CVJM/YMCA Muenchen

Munich, Germany

Check-in paperwork is a bit time consuming, and the way to get in after midnight a bit complicated with an extra key, but staff is really very friendly and helpful. Room is large enough, beds are in line, not next to each other (rules in the elevator say "no unmarried couples in a twin room together!") Location is great, few minutes to two subway stations to choose from, bars and fast food restaurants nearby. Toilet and shower are shared with about seven other rooms, but I never had to queue.

Houseboat Hostel Alternatief

Amsterdam, Netherlands

Great atmosphere on the boat, with everything there you might ever need. And what a great host! Joanne even baked a cake for us, "Vitamine for bad weather"!!! Would never want to stay anywhere else in Amsterdam.

Camp Junction House B&B

Dingle Peninsula, Ireland

Very fine place to stay about 10 to 12 km outside of Tralee, beautiful setting, good value for money & very nice contact, loads of information to places worth seeing in the area by the owner. I'll be back there next time on dingle!

Dresden, Germany

Check in tie not earlier than 15:00 (altough not fully booked) isn't great service when you arrive from airport in the morning, and storing valuable goods in a room far away in the cellar with no security control is quiet dangerous in my opinion... Room was ok, as was location (but very difficult to re-find at night!!!)

Neptunes Town Hostel

Killarney, Ireland

Neptune's is always my first choice for staying in Killarney. Nice and affordable place near to everything that is important in the city.

Greenwood Hostel

Kenmare, Ireland

My second time at Greenwood, and always love to come back. Met wonderful people there... ;-)

Skellig Ring House Hostel

Portmagee, Ireland

Returning guest. Nice, spacious place to stay for a break on the Ring of Kerry tour towards Valentia Island (not to be missed!)

Green Street Townhouse

Dingle, Ireland

Nice place in walking distance to harbour, pubs & restaurants. Although single room was quite small, a very nice place with character to stay. Well-equipped kitchen for the short-time traveller who doesn't carry a lot to make a breakfast of!

Greenwood Hostel

Kenmare, Ireland

Havent stayed at such a wonderful place before. Verz friendly, beautiful setting & facilities. Doesn't make you feel to stay at a hostel but with friends. Great collection of books & music in the beautiful salon facing the garden side.
