A very clean well run Hostel near public transport in the Hongik University area of Seoul. Has excellent facilities including free washing machine. Was a little quiet when I was there however there is a lot of space in the common area & Kitchen which would help facilitate meeting other travellers.

Location is excellent in the French Concession and right around the corner from Peoples square. Staff were friendly, especially the Bar staff. Bar has potential to provide for a really good atmosphere with the right group. Wasn't overly clean, though not unbearable. No Guest Kitchen, but there is a restaurant on the ground floors and plenty of others in the surrounding district.

Dream House Hostel

Kiev, Ukraine

The Hostel is in an excellent location a short walk from a nearby Metro Station. The cafe/bar is open to the public. The reception staff are extremely friendly and good natured, however probably not as knowledable regarding Tourist information as they could be. The Laundry does not have a drier (so don't leave your laundry to the last night!) and the Kitchen has very limited facilities with the Only Hot plate quite often borrowed by the cafe. WiFi did not work on the 3rd floor.

The Babushka Grand Hostel

Odessa, Ukraine

Small Hostel 10 min walk from town center. Was quite clean but not a great deal of room in the Kitchen/common area when a few people were using these area's. Maybe some Bean bags/cushions could supplement the existing seating. Staff were friendly but had varying levels of knowledge regarding "Tourist type infomation". Perhaps a cheat sheet could be developed that would give the different options available.

Doors Hostel

Bucharest, Romania

Is a nice Hostel ~20 min walk from the Old town. Has kind of a cool Hippy feel to it with a public Tea bar that is run by the Hostel staff. The price of beer at the bar, and other facilities seem quite expensive relative to other places in Bucharest. The staff are all quite nice, and the owner is great and quite knowledgable. Would suggest that maybe a cheat sheet for the staff with common "tourist related info" might help as some of the staff weren't quite as aware of the different options.

Its a small Hostel a short walk from the town center. The Staff were all quite helpful and the rooms had plenty of space. The common area's (Kitchen etc) are quite small, but there is a small table outside but this is dependant on the weather. Quite nice overall and do recommend it, for those after a "quiet" Hostel.

Hedonist Hostel

Was a top Hostel near the center of Belgrade. The staff were great and there was a good common area, small but well equiped kitchen and also a good open area to help meet other travellers. Only very small issue was that the wifi was a bit sketchy in the common area's and this could be improved quite easily and cheaply.

A really nice Hostel just out of the center of Ljubljana, but well within walking distance of anything in Town. The staff are quite helpful, the facilities are good and there is a good sized common room which will help the atmosphere with the right group of people. I do recommend a trip to Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj (can do both in one day if you start early). Also found the trip to the Škocjan Caves quite good. Misha the Hostel sponsered Day tour guide was very informative and worth the money.

Really nice hostel 5-10 min North of Termini Train station and 10-15 min from the Spanish Steps. In a good location close to some foreign embassies. Supermarket 5 minutes away. Hostel was small, had good facilities and was kept fairly clean. If you like beer there is a really good craft beer bar called "Ma che siete venuti a fa" on Via Benedetta, 25, Rome. Has great craft Italian beer!

Manena Hostel

The staff were quite helpful and friendly. Has good facililties and is near the center of town though a 15 min walk from the train station which isn't overly bad. One thing that really takes away from the Hostel is the Curfew and midday lockout. I think a securicty code on the front door or someother means of after hours access should be considered if possible. The midday lockout can also be slightly inconvenient and perhaps just restricting an individual area as its cleaned might be an option.

Not a bad Hostel. Some of the staff seemed to have a little bit of an attitude, but guy on night shift was good. Closing the common area at midnight takes away a little from the atmoshphere, probably a 2 am close would be better. Still a good place to stay.

Easy to access from public transport. The Staff were friendly & helpful. A little more tourist information in regards to things to see and activities to do (i.e. walking tours etc) would be great. Overall it was a really nice small hostel which had a great atmosphere for meeting people. WiFi worked everywhere. Marseille was a nice city too (even though it rained heavily while I was there) and surpassed expectations.

Is a good Hostel. Has great facilities right in the dorm rooms, such as stoves, mircowaves, fridge and all the utensils you would need. Seems to be geared more for Student residents and would improve the atmosphere immensly for tourists if there was more information on what to see & do in town and also if it were possible to organise some walking tours, pub crawls etc as is done in other cities. These are usually run by Uni Students who rely on tips as payment and do not cost the Hostel at all.

Really nice Hostel in Granada. The Staff were great. One improvement I would suggest is to keep the Kitchen/Common area open for a little while longer (at least 2 am) with noise restrictions, to improve the atmosphere. Not re-opening the Kitchen/Common area until 08:30 is a little restictive too for those having to leave early (i.e. can't access any food in the fridge). Overall its a really good Hostel and I definitely recommend it.

Good location, staff were mostly helpful. Bar is good. Not overly clean anywhere in Hostel, but functional. Should get rid of the coin operated washer/driers as they never seem to work overly well in any Hostel. A switch at the reception/bar, to control the power to some normal washer/driers, would provide the same level of control to staff & probably be a hell of a lot cheaper to buy & maintain the equipment.
