i cant say enough good things about this place. i stayed here for a few nights in December 2015. The owner, Tatiana, acted more like a friend. she was very friendly, helpful and accomodating. the hotel was very close to the city attractions, like museums, old tbilisi, freedom square, etc. tatiana would get up at all hours of the night to welcome and farewell her guests - and always with a smile! i stayed in the private room. room was big and comfortable. highly recomended!

Hotel Maroel

Cartagena, Colombia

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst places I have ever stayed in. The location is good. 10 minute walk to the centre of Cartagena. The staff were nice, although they did not speak english. The bad thing about this hotel is the room. Its very small, no window and smelled. The wall and roof had black stains on them. The smell was a strong smell of detergent, then it turned ito a stale like smell. I felt sick. Its like a prison cell. I got another hotel after a sleepless night.

Hostel was great. The lady at reception gets 5 stars!! She was friendly and helpful, and as she was helping me people kept coming up to her asking for things (keys, towels, info, etc), and she answered every query with a smile, and helped me out with a smile as well. I would have gone insane in her place! I stayed in a private room on the third floor. The bed was a little hard, but by the second night I got a little used to it. The room had air-con, cable TV, closet, and was clean.

stayed there for 3 nights during world pride (late June). The location is really central. its only a 5 minute walk to the gay village, and 10 minute walk to Dunas square (the main square in Toronto). The room itself was high up on the 16th floor, with excellent views of downtown! The room itself was very average. We stayed in a two bed room with shared bathroom. The bathrooms was in ok condition. The hallways were a little dirty. You get a free breakfast. Bit pricey at $40/bed. Would stay again.

i stayed in this place in late December 2013. The place itself seemed ok and decent. The staff were pleasant. The front desk is at the bar, so you have to walk into the bar to check in. We stayed in a double room. It had 2 old couches in it and a desk and a bunk bed. The bed and pillows were plastic, so not comfortable. The showers seemed dirty. I didnt shower in them. The place is about a 10 to 15 min walk to the old city. There is a grocery store and bar across the street. was an ok stay

La Casa Del Sol

Marrakech, Morocco

great place to stay. i stayed in a private room. it was clean and comfortable. had an ensuite. The windows opened onto the courtyard. Unfortunately you could hear the sounds echoing in the courtyard. the room had an air con as well. the staff were nice and friendly. had to pay someone $20USD to show me the place. its a bit hard to find at first. once you know it, it's quite easy to find. they offer a small breakfast for about $3USD. you get coffee, juice, 3 small pancakes.

Hotel du Palais Casablanca

Casablanca, Morocco

good place to stay in the heart of Casablanca. it is a 2 min walk to place mohammed v. only a 5 min walk to the pedestrian mall, and 10 min walk to place nations unies. the room was decent. it had a small balcony, a small tv, and 2 single beds. no problems whatsoever .staff are there 24 hours. The staff are helpful and friendly. they don't have a map of Casa though, so make sure you have your own. place was very quiet. would stay again!

AAl @ Rooms

Barcelona, Spain

When i arrived there, i rang the buzzer ( the place is an apartment, and the owner rents rooms). No answer when i buzzed. Someone else was waiting, said they have been waiting 1 hr. We buzzed again. No answer. So we waited 30 mins. I then called their number. Housekeeper that answered didnt speak english. So i got the other person to speak spanish to them. She let us in and we found out the ower was away until late afternoon. The room and racilities r nice, clean. However not worth the hassle

Las Musas Hostel

Madrid, Spain

the hostel was nice. really good location. only a 5 min walk to Sol, which is the main square in Madrid. Lots of little cafes and resturants near by. The hostel was clean. Bed was comfortable and room was nice. The only downside though is that if you are staying on the first floor, you can hear all that goes on downstairs in the reception/common room. There is no door to close off the common room, and the sound travels up the stairs. its really annoying if you are trying to sleep.

Harlem YMCA

New York, USA

the room was very average. the tv had no cable, and there was no reception. there was no hot water for a hot shower! they were also like those `gym showers`, where there is one big room with a couple of showers in it, as opposed to individual showers. but the staff were very friendly, especially the lady at the booth that took the payments and stuff. i would not stay here again though.
