Very clean, quiet, nice place and good value for the money. Located about 5 min walk from Hammersmith tube spot. Great hostel if you are looking for a quiet, safe, clean place to stay outside of the main city center.
Great location. Nice place, would stay here again.
This is an slightly above average hostel. The place is clean and quiet, although a little bit overpriced for the reasons below. The hostel is really dark on the inside-- not that this is important necessarily but it is weird. Our room had no air conditioning and was literally trapping heat, it must have been 10 degrees hotter in our room than outside. I asked the staff if they had a fan or would give us a rebate on our room price (they claimed their a/c was out of order) to no avail.
The place was nice, but the rooms (we stayed in a double bed room) were incredibly small for the price. Also, there are only 2 communal bathrooms for the entire Hostel (like 8 or 9 bedrooms). There was not air conditioning in our room, either, and the streets below are fairly loud at night. Also, it is on the top floor of a tall building, so you have to take your luggage up a lot of stairs. Overall, it was a nice place but maybe a little over priced given these considerations.
We stayed in a private double ensuite. It was very big, with nice old furniture. Overall, we were impressed at the quality for a hostel, it was more like a lower end hotel. However, we were there during the week, so it didn't seem as crowded.

This was a great hotel. The young girls who work there all speak very good English, are very knowledgeable about the area, and are very friendly and helpful. They hostel itself is very nice, clean, and quiet. The little neighborhood it is in is also very nice and quiet, about a 15 minute walk to the main train station. The hostel is about a 30min walk to the main bar/restaurant area in downtown Kyoto. Overall, I would highly recommend this hostel.
Overall, a very nice and quiet hostel. The staff are friendly and helpful, although they do not speak very much English. The location can be a bit difficult to find once you get to the Hongo area, as the hostels are in a confusing set of side streets across from Tokyo University. But overall, this hostel was very clean, quiet, and comfortable, and I would stay there again.
This place is upstairs of a bar run by the same company. It is definetly more of a "party" backpakers hostel with younger people, than a place to get good sleep. The hostel itself is good and run well. The rooms are warm, and the street the hostel is located on is very busy (and therefor loud at night). The bar downstairs is nice and the area the hostel is in is a good, fun area. Overall, I would recommend it if you are looking to meet people and go out but not if you want good sleep.
I stayed in their other building (not the main one). It was really clean, nice new sheets and pillow. The security is really good (doorcode pads + individual room keys). It is located in a great part of the city. They give you 1 free 30min internet access card. Overall, no complaints. The common areas are quite small so I didn\'t get the impression people really hang out at the hostel too much.
Its located a bit away from the main Plaza, but its only like a 3 sole taxi. Despite the location not being ideal, the owner is a great guy. He was very helpful to us, they have a laundry service, the rooms are nice and have multiple living room areas. Overall a great place, just a little bit away from the main plaza but only a 10min walk.
An excellent location in San Blas, right by the San Blas church and square. The hostel is neat and has charm. The rooms were adequeate but cold because of no central heating, but had a space heater that was okay.
This is a really nice hostel and I would stay here again. It is not in a great area necessarily, but the hostel itself and the block around it seem really safe. It is about a $10 taxi ride to the french quarter, or a 15min tram ride ($1.25). It\'s convenient even though its not walking distance to downtown.
The guy who works here at night is diligent about not letting drunk people wander around the halls or bedrooms and wake everyone up. This is kind of nice if you want to sleep, annoying if you want to come in drunk. Overall though, it is a great hostel to sleep well and be safe. But if you plan on going out and just want a place to sleep and keep your stuff, I would highly recommend it.
The lobby and terrace of this place is more like a hotel in looks and niceness than a hostel. The main staff guy was really friendly, he even let us keep our stuff there an extra day when we had already checked out. The beach is a good 10 min walk and the shower has almost no water pressure at all at some times, but besides that very good hostel for the money.
Overall, this hostel was really nice. It is a short walk to both the beach and las ramblas, as well as other sights and going out spots. The people working there were really nice and helpful, and in the evenings a lot of people would eat dinner and drink in the main hall before going out.
