Nice clean, quiet place to stay. Good views over the city to the mountains. Location up a steepish hill so better to take taxi if you have bags. Not a lot of English spoken but staff friendly. Directions to hostel need amending as they are out of date.

Lub d Bangkok Silom

The noise from the bar went on until 6 am both nights.. it could be heard all the way up in the rooms. Pricey for what it is too.

Loved this place. My second visit. If you want to meet other travelers or stay somewhere friendly, clean and of good value then this is THE place. - James :-)

Wake Up! Sydney Central

Sydney, Australia

This palce is a waste of the extra money. there are much better hostels for about AS$15 less in the area. The main selling point seems to be teh bar in teh basement but as there are numerous bars in teh area I can't see why that works but then most of the clientele are youths and tehy ain't too smart! I wouldn't go back here again - not in Sydney, not anywhere. Absolutely souless. Enjoy your drinking holiday.

Extremely good value for money!

A very good value GH indeed. As it's in a small road behind the main road it is very quiet. TV, AC, fan, and hot water and a spotless room all for a fiver a night! A+

A top hostel. If they were all liek this, travel would be even more fun. I wish I didn't have a flight already booked and had to leave after only one night.

Kancil Guesthouse

The plastic wrapping on the beds is a major set back here - very noisy whe you have 10-12 people tossing and turning unable to sleep because of teh other 10 or so people tossing and turning as they too, are unale to sleep. I'm sure they make enough money to take the plastic off!
