Pretty good hostel, more like a big house than a purpose built hostel. There are enough bathrooms and showers. Some bits could be a little cleaner but nothing is too dirty. The staff are friendly and approachable. Quite a young crowd that work there. The kitchen is adequate and well stocked with pots and pans. BBQ available. Bit of a Stoney hostel as well, general smoking area out back. If I wanted to improve it I'd add better lighting, a sound system and paint the deck out back.
Had a lovely time here. The staff are friendly, the rooms are big. The air conditioning is noisy but gladly welcomed. The beds are nice and the reading lights are essential. Made a few buddies here but the bar needs to be a bit more lively. Was a bit quiet there , then again I was there weekdays. The only bad this is that they have noises metal lockers that aren't nailed down, things get very noisey when folks are looking for stuff at night.
2nd Time staying here! Great hostel, love everything about it, clean, fun, relaxed, enjoyable, homely. Bit sad just thinking about it now, reminiscing again!
Perfect hostel in many ways, lacked atmosphere, literally no fun at all! Felt a bit like a well run hotel or detention centre Everything was perfect except for the atmosphere!!
Onbe of the few places in Huacachina to stay but a fine place, generalyl clean, nice food and bar, don't buy cigarettes at the bar, they are Awful!! would stay again!
Nice high quality hostel with all the amenities you'ld expect. Bar can be a bit loud buyt only till 2 am ish, then all is quiet. Beds are great quality and feather duvets are quite decadent.
Not going to be too hard on this hostel, It's on an island with limited water, power and hot water heating facilities. The hostel offers a relatively cheap bed, the owner is friendly and will offer you a bucket of water if you need to wash. I think the hostel gets a tough rap on hostelworld. If your going to the island for a few days it si absolutely pefect and will givew you a nice, quiet, and warm place to rest your head. The breakfast isn't amazing but does the job.
Good hostel, good kitchen, comfy beds, nice size rooms, some smaller than others but generally fine. Very secure, staff are ok, not very bilingual but they try. Have good arrangement with tour companies. WARM SHOWERS 24/7. Great place to meet people, not strict on checkout. Can hang about all day. Would stay st again.
Ok hostel, but wouldn't rave about it, clean, quiet, but the staff think they are really cool ! The lack of breakfast is annoying and the bar isn't open late.
Really liked this hostel, The rooms are great and 1 shower for 6 beds is good in dorms. They keep them very clean (they even wash the hammocks) and even service mid-stay. The hostel is laid out nicely with allot of space to hang out and chill. The hostel is up a hill away from the beach but still only a few minutes to ´downtown´. No crazy insects, a few general mosquitos as everywhere, loads of hammocks, good beds. Will stay again. The lady that runs it is also very friendly and helpful. Omar
good spot, very clean, great bar, good vegetarian option. Highly reccoment. Maybe less so for a solo traveller as it tends to get big groups but nice friendly place. Bike rental is great and so is kayaking, Transfers from the hotel are reliable. Would stay at again.
Absolutely wonderful hostel. Travelling on my own in Rio and went for this place as it was high on the hostelworld ratings. It´s small , only 17 beds but full of energy. I found it a great place to meet people and good for finding buddies up for adventures. The mattresses are perfect the place is really clean and the staff are wonderful. The nights out and BBQs on the roof are great. I really liked the staff, Nico, george, Stephanie, Martha and the ever beautiful Flora! See you soon Omar
Overall good hostel, bit too new and white but facilities were good, beds were comfy and the staff were nice. Would of liked if the common areas was open past midnight.
