We were there for just one night, and it was a really good choice, it is in the main street where most of the public baths are, so it makes it very easy for enjoy the onsen experience. The owners are very nice and speak english, which is great for foreign tourists, as they explain to you anything you need to know about the bathing protocol. They also dropped us to the monkey park when we checked out, and they took our luggages to the train station! That was awesome... Arigato gosaimas. :)

Toco was our first place in Japan, and definetly the best beginning, really beautiful place with japanese charming, and espacious, which is not usual in Japan. We were at the 6 bed room, and there's a lot of space for storage your stuff. Confortable beds, and very nice staff. The location is ok, in a regular area, but pretty close to Ueno station. Showers, toilet, sheets and everything very clean, I really enjoyed my stay in there.

The place is ok, and easy to get there if you follow the directions. We had a private double bedrrom, and while we thought we had a nice talk with one of the owners... surprise!!! they sneaked into our room and took our heater!!! Not very nice gesture, isn't it? they could just ask for it.

We are very sorry for that, but it was for the good of all the hostel, we put that heater just outside to give heat to evrybody, but if it bothers so we are sorry.

Almost the perfect place, really, all pros, clean, comfy, well located (great terrace)... but cons, no breakfast, and they should advice smoking is NOT allowed in the house, you can go upstairs to the terrace, but in winter it can be pretty cold. Anyhow, I would be back to this place if I'm visiting Chaouen again

Christina's House is a proper home with the nicest hostess (spanish girl named Sally) we ever met in our trip around Morocco. The place is very clean, the breakfast great and the location well, is not in the Medina, but just 5 min walking from there, so I think is not a big deal...

Is is a typical Moroccan runned by moroccan people, with a delicious moroccan breakfast (not fresh orange juice, but still very good) The room was clean and with heater. The only one con about this place is the staff, they were just correct, nothing else, no advices for do or see in Fez. But good breakfast, clean bed and hot water in the heart of the Medina, what else would we need?
