This was an amazing hostel, everyone was always happy to help and make you a caipirinha! The Lapa street party and the favela tour was definitely my highlight of the trip and the hostel helped sort and book both of them. Big cheers goes out to Julian and Luis for making a great last stay at the end of my RTW trip!
Had a great time here and they were really good with booking excursions for us. Loved the little courtyard filled with flowers!
Had a really good stay here and loved that there was free dinner every night as it helped my budgeting. Good atmosphere and friendly living room area - good for meeting other travellers.

Really enjoyed the Monks Bunk hostels, the one here and in Vilnius were both great. Like the touch of 'no shoes' and 'no Facebook after 7pm'!! Had a great time in this hostel, especially with the King's Cup game, we call it ring of fire in the UK - brilliant fun!

It's a simple hotel and could actually be cheaper in the price as this was the only hotel we stayed at during the month long trip and we wanted to go back to hostels much more! The staff are very helpful however, just location is terrible when you're backpacking.
Loved this hostel, very beautifully decorated inside and with a lovely breakfast in the morning and always a member of staff there to help. Had a very comfortable sleep here ready for the folk festival in the morning!
The layout in this hostel is very bizarre indeed! Felt like we were sleeping in a warehouse bunker, but even this became part of the fun in the end and we made lots of friends here. The shower at the end is really lovely....don't usually comment on that but it really was!
Enjoyed this hostel, has a really nice common roomo and the guy running is very helpful and was very worried about us girls going out into Budapest in the night on our own which was sweet! Had a very quiet and peaceful sleep here.
Really pleasant hostel, but the pool table should be free! The staff were really helpful and understanding, even when we had a fit of giggles due to over-tiredness. Not too far from the centre either.
Was dubious about whether to believe the good reviews (they seemed too good!) but this place is amazing! The beds are so comfortable and the owner Bojan gave us some great tips for exploring the area such as Vintgar gorge and of course the Labyrint maze that he's created which is great fun! Will definitely be visiting again!
Really liked the style of this hostel, and the lovely beer garden is a perfect place for socializing with other travellers. The one downside is that the bedrooms on the top floor are insanely hot, so much so that i had to soak my towel and sleep under it to cool down. Other than that, great fun place to stay.
This place was very nice, air conditioned and felt safe. The owner even helped me out when we arrived at 4am due to late bus connections! Really appreciated the free internet use and lockers.
Tanya was fabulous as a hostess with the mostest! She even brought us homemade lemonade after a long day in the sun. The bedroom was air conditioned, first place on our long trip that had that, so we had the best night's sleep! She even organised a guy to take us to surrounding places of interest the following day. Will definitely be visiting this place again!!
Really enjoyed this hostel, had some great company playing the accordion and guitar in the nights too. Staff were helpful and the bed, although slightly awkward to get into, were comfortable.
Enjoyed our stay here, the staff were very hepful and even knew where Bangor is (a first time for everything)! Better to take a bus into town as the walk is quite long, but good for the legs! Would recommend this place and the restaurant around the corner too!
Loved loved loved this place! The people were really friendly - especially Anna the receptionist! We had a great sleep in the apartments just across from the main hostel and found it very clean and full of fun in the nights, love that they have a pool table!
Really not impressed with this hostel, or slum as it should be called. Surprised that hostelworld even advertise it to be honest. The owner is constantly drugged up, there are cockroaches everywhere, the mattress have obviously never been washed and there is used toilet paper filling up the bathroom. Not surprised at its cheapness at all. The only good side is that the location isn't too bad, but wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy.
Found this a great place to stay for a break away, the location couldn't be any better - right next to Placa de Catalunya and the metro stops take you right to the beach, Gaudi's park, Sagrada Familia. Had a wonderful time, even the lift up is entertaining!
Really enjoyed our stay here and the receptionist Denitsa was brilliant in letting us know which places to visit! It's in an ideal location for visiting the majority of archeological sites in Athens and right by the bus stops which take you to the more rural ones. Had a brilliant time - thank you Diskouros!
Had a really good few days here, perfect location if you fancy doing more than skiing as the bus stop is 20 yards away and takes you to all the best skiing resorts and even better the Caldea spa (a must see!) is just a 2 minute walk away!
When we arrrived we found out that the rooms had actually flooded but fortunately the hotel owner was willing to pay the extra to put us up in a hotel not too far away and pay the extra fees.

Really nice modern place to stay, good kitchen area too.
Had great fun here, loved how we were staying on a boat, made many friends and would definitely stay here again!
I had a fantastic time in this hostel, the location really couldn't have been better for the fringe venues- everywhere a five minute walk! People there were friendly and staff were really helpful - I'll be going back again next year!
The game of boules was fun! Shame we were awful at it! awfully good that is... Anyhoo, the area is beautiful and full of interesting wildlife.
