My 2nd stay on the way back before the return flight. Staff is excellent and its location is somehow ok. Room charge is affordable, less than cost of living in Moscow.

The place is cleansed and well sanitized with decent facility and chic design. The room is quite spacious and comfy. Its location is just nice. From there you can walk to the centre. The host is willing to help you out all the time when you make any request, despite her limited English. There s a washing machine and you pay just 50R for a wash then you got a spacious hanging area. I am truly impressed with the place and its staff.

Galina's Flat

Moscow, Russia

Though not quite competent in English, the host Galina is quite friendly giving useful and plentiful advice on how to get around. It s a fair walk to the place but not too far from the railway station. The only down side is that it s located on the 5th floor without elevator and you can smell kitten's excrement quite strong. And thanks again for understanding and allowing me to take a shower amid hot summer after I had already checked out.

Good location, just a few minutes from airport bus stop. Staff are very helpful on arranging day tours at affordable price, and advice on how to get around. Dorm rooms with air-cond are really pleasing after walking in the heat all day long outside. Shared bathrooms and toilets are quite spacious and comfortable. Especially the lobby is very relaxing in nice ambience. Though located near walking street, its other side faces the greenery of the hill, yielding tranquility at night. I do like here.

Good location with friendly staff and nice views. Quite peaceful at night but not far from the centre. Male dorm room is quite large with en suite bathroom and a balcony for sunrise enjoying. The corridor is large and always kept clean. I really recommend this place for its great value. Anyway, the map on the website seems to be misleading towards the opposite direction.

A bit far from the lakeside, but peaceful for night sleep. Staff are helpful on information including transport arrangement to get around at inexpensive price. The ambience is homey feature like being still at home. Beyond that, the Himalayan range is visible from the rooftop. And thank you for waking up early in the morning to prepare hot shower for me before my departure on the last day.

Being close to Thamel, the main shopping area and centre, it is easy to get around. Staff are well accommodaitng, giving you useful information, and also can arrange transport to get around at affordable price. On the down side, in winter it is a bit cold in the room due to lack of heater, but hot shower is there to alleviate the toughness of winter.

Staff are extremely friendly and I am truly satisfied with their service mind by the way they supported me all the time once I inquired how to get around. Location is great, within the centre of everything including nightlife and eateries, but it is situated in a serene corner, making it quite peaceful at night suitable for sound sleep. Reception is on the 5th floor of a big building (where its ground floor is a Korean restaurant), but the hostel is on another building on a nearby road.

Easy to find. Staff is very friendly giving you useful info of the town. It s a big apartment divided into small and comfy rooms with nice rooftop. Located a bit off-centre and hard to find. Without service-mind, the guy(receptionist) was not in the mood to give direction to the hostel on the phone. Moreover, I booked this place for two nights, and planned to depart at 10pm of the second night (I informed so to the staff). Anyway, I changed my plan to leave a few hours later (without telling them in advance). Once getting back to the place, I foud my luggage was removed from the room and the room was not available to me anymore. Unreal!!

All staff have service-mind and they are willing to assist you anytime like getting you around in the nearby area. Good location near the railway station, and the whole place is cleanly sanitized with nice n fresh fragrance. The dorm room is also clean equipped with comfy air-con. The overall interior looks nice, and staff are informative, and helpful, but sometimes it is hard to find them. For dorm, no matter it is 2 beds, 3 beds, or more beds, it is basically a large dorm with partitions and curtains to separate each space apart. During weekends, it can be a nightmare because if someone talks loud at night it will be too hard to sleep and the noise can be heard to the whole floor.

Good location near the wall of the Forbidden city, best facility to at least three-star standard but you just pay at a very cheap hostel price. Warm amd genuine hospitality by all staff espicially the guy who always appears with nice and cute smiles. The room is comfortably warm and the en-suite bathroom is spotless. This place is a family-run hotel with casual setting in the lobby and comfortably relaxable rooms. I got the room on the top floor which gave me city view on three sides.
