Beautiful setting, friendly staff but common area was often left a mess by others-cigarettes, beer bottles, trash. There really is NO wifi because the connection is SO weak. Do not think it is any better when 20 volunteers from All Out Africa (who stay at the lodge) are not on their devices. It is never very good at all for anything accept reading and trying repeatedly to send a reply.

-Unfortunately, the music never ever stopped playing from 7pm to 7am -NO wifi in the rooms at all -Breakfast was cancelled but then coffee nor hot water was available until 8am one morning and then not available Christmas morning until the boys that had been partying all nigh felt like getting around to it-well after 9am and only after Diana arrived (the only competent employee) -the door to my room was broken & the door knob was always on the verge of falling off -2.caged toucans

Nice staff, fresh coffee every morning, decent wifi, only shared bathrooms, common areas need a much needed clean and to be freshened up and organized as most things do after lots of use. The location is very good in the heart of Candelos (as name would suggest) A good value

At the time of my booking, I could only reserve a room for 2 people even though I was traveling alone. I tried to email them about other rooms after I secured a spot and they never got back to me. Sure enough, when I got there they insisted immediately that I pay in total. A day or so later I found out they had single rooms so I asked about switching and getting s bit of my money back.. They were reluctant at first(strange but true) No wifi for customers and hit/miss hot water. It all worked out

The owner/manager here and al staff were very helpful and kind. They provided good information and helped arrange airport transporation etc. One must use the metro system to get into the sights of Santiago but it is easy to use.

Cashew Nut was an exceptinal guesthouse to stay at. The owners take great pride in their custormer service and provide the most comprehensive information booklet I have ever seen produced by any accommodation offering top to bottom info on visiting The Temples of Angkor including going rates for tuk tuks to all possible excursions. They also had great info on local things to see and do in the area including a "circus" put on by young Cambodian talent . Stay, enjoy and trust you will be happy.

The one girl that was the staff was great-she waskindand helpful and allowedus to make our own coffee each morning evev though she did to have to do that. Our lower room had the best hot shower and great air conditioning we have had in over a month in south east asia. Wifi was pretty good too. Lots of noise can be heard from upper rooms if in a lower room however.

The location was pretty good, walking distantce to some good sights and resources, but there is room for improvement in other areas. The kitchen posted breakfast being served at 7am and the crew needed to be woken up at 7:30 to get going (they slept in the dining are)

The staff, location and facilities are just great for the cost. I will go back as I use Hanoi as a hub for my Southeast Asian tour. I could not have asked for a more well rounded place to stay and the staff was the most attentive and knowledgeable I have come across in a long time.

Hotel Fundadores must be a Boquete old timer classic. You can tell it has been around and they have made some upgrades. The location is great-just a short walk to everythng central without the noise of a middle of everything The staff were really nice, mello and helpful. There was always someone there at the desk to help with anything. The rooms are clean and spacious. I had wifi access in my room-not sure about others. There is a pretty stream running through the back covered arae and garden.

This hotelito worked closely with Casa de la Bruja and I was able to get what was right for my stay. Both places are neat, tidy and have an artistic flare that is always refreshing to see.

The staff were mostly friendly and helpful. They can assist with jungle lodge stays but may not have very accurate pricing so wait to hear what the jungle lodge company has to say. The atmosphere here is good except the all male staff seem to like to decorate the common areas with any women's undergarments left behind, Windows and walls are thin so noise carries and staff can delay opening the front door which was some concern considering how close it is Belen and the waterfront.

Very nice and helpful staff in a convenient location for late arrivals or early departures. It is just minutes from the airport. There is a large supermarket down or there is some food available as well as a small bar. WiFi throughout so all was very easy.

The family running Samay are very nice and helpful. It was a 15 minute walk to the Plaza de Armas which was nice and easy. The guesthouse was located on an unpaved road one block off the primary road running thgrough town so it was more quiet and you felt further away than you were. Wifi throughout and hot water each day and breakfast was included-what more could you ask for? It was just right.

For Lima, this place should be improved upon. Malka boasts a convenient location for bus travelers but has a rigid breakfast (included if your schedule fits theirs) schedule of 8-10am-no exceptions and asking for a cup of coffee only because my bus was at 7:45 got a very negative response & they replied that I would get fed on the bus so I should not care. WIFI was only acessible on first level-not in the rooms. I have stayed in 4 different places in Lima and that was a first. Step it up!

All the people at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. The location was great and wifi was accessed in each room. The hot shower was excellent everyday without fail. There is a beautiful view from the roof and, while you are up there, seek out the beautiful friendly black lab on the uppermost level. He needs visitors too! They offer tours and treks but so do many other places so ... Sound really carries in the atrium so think of others and don't hesitate to ask people to be quiet when loud

This is what Andes Camp wrote to me: We are very sorry to inform you that we do not have space for the reservation you made with us for this weekend. This weekend is a Peruvian holiday and we are completely booked, but we were not able to update the availability on hostelworld because we have lost access to our account. We sent them an email to gain access but they are taking their time in responding so we can't cancel any reservations. If you don't mind, if you could get your deposit from Hos

The staff and location were great-right in central Miraflores with access to everything one could need. . The room was clean and comfortable even though ensuite bathroom was directly across the hall from my room (but I had the key to it.)There was a good wifi connection throughoutand breakfast was included-a really cool lady was scambling up eggs on the top floor! Sign by front door should read Push and Push (not Push and Pull) push the button and then push the door open-just clarifying(-:

The staff were as nice as people come and they really want for travelers to get the most out of their time in Nazca. They are very helpful in arranging flights over the amazing lines-but all are at the mercy of the weather. The pricing is very fair but you may be told 9am, and at 9am, you may be told 10am, and at 10am...etc.etc but the fog is bound to lift and they will let you know when to be there! Have crisp clean USD or soles on hand and enjoy!

That staff and location were excellent! Wifi was reliable and breakfast cooked fresh daily really reinforced the name, "Home Sweet Home" even if you don't usually eat on a rooftop terrace with volcanic views.

The location and staff wwere just wonderful. Breakfast was included which was nice and the almost rooftop terrace was a nice setting. Showers used solar heated water which is great but means showering at night provided much warmer showers than in the moring after a cold night in Puno. There was also free wifi but the connection was on and off or non existant unless you stood in the office/reception, using your own device, where it was perfect. Do Not expect to connect to wifi otherwise!
Thank you for your candid comments Best Regards El Manzano ... nature surrounds us

The owner is as friendly and accommodating as they come and you will just love the views from this San Blas located hospedaje. It is very clean and quiet. It is just a few minutes to Plaza de Armas and many services. There is WiFi and hot water along with breakfast-I would stay here again in a heartbeat and bring friends and family!

The staff was as fantastic as the location-could not have asked for more concerning those two items. The facilities were good, beds comfortable, sometimes no water or no hot water in shared shared facilities and then the staff would work hard at fixing that. Rooms off the kitchen area were subject to loud conversations well past the 12 midnight curfew if you didn't get out of bed yourself and ask people to quiet down. Not bad overall.
Hi, Thanks for you comments, Our staff is great, We are working hard to improve our service, but, sometimes people just don't respect the house rules. and we need to remaind them :) Flying Dog Hostels

Superb location, value and staff! It was centrally located but was still quiet at night. Nice sharedkitchen type area where you could use the fridge and everything was very nice and clean. I would book there again for sure! They are working on getting a sign out on the street-it can be tricky to find at first because of this. Just ask, anyone will help if they can!

This place saved us on the rainiest of mornings being right acoss the street from the train station! It also had a very interesting character-right back to the good old red era days-you'll understand if you book it. There wasn't anything to complain about at all-just a funky fine place to stay-no fluff or frills.

Pension Tara is smack dab in the mddle of where you want to be with the feel of a secluded off the beaten path pension. We booked a twin private and had extra beds in our extremely spacious room. What it lacks in gleaming bathrooms and carpets, it makes up for in value, location, staff, fridge and kettle, security, etc! A return stay is a must! Sweet deal to remember and pass along to those paying attention.

The location was very central and an easy walk from the train station-all down hill. The staff was very nice(one woman working at the desk) but she could only answer "no" to our questions: wi-fi? Kitchen to make tea or coffee? Breakfast available? There was one computer for visitors to use but it was out of service the morning we left. Just don't expect more than a room to sleep in and you'll be quite content

Woambats is a top notch mega hostel that knows how to opperate. The location could not have been more central, the staff was brilliant and available, and the facilities were amazing and supplied everything under the sun. It is an impessive organization that could be sxetting a precedent for big city hostels (and should be).

My Guest Rooms is in a good location on a shady street not far from the main sights. The buliding had a lot of character and so did our room. All rooms were on the top floor which made them very hot this time of year and for some reason a floor fan was not provided in the room that did not have a ceiling fan. We felt this should have been provided without a question. There was one large, and very clean bathroom/utility room for the entire floor. The staff was very nice and was attentive.

This was the best place to stay! The owners have created the cleanest, most comfortable environment and are the most gracious hostesses going far beyond what other hostels offer. We added an extra night and would have stayed longer if plans permitted.

The location was great and the staff we met were nice but when it is printed in Hostelworld that, "Every room is equipped with AC. " and NOT all rooms have AC, that is not fair representation of what you are reserving online nor paying for. We would noit have minded so much if it was a cooler summer but even when we asked for a fan from the only employees around (those waiting tables in the pizzaria below),two nights in a row, we never heard back from anyone nor saw the manager again-too bad!
Hi Courtney. Do you know that when you left the cleaning lady the same morning came down at the pizzeria and she sayed that you had turned the panel heating on !? in july! :)
