El Diablo Hostel Belgrade

Belgrade, Serbia
100%

A very good hostel! The staff is ready to help you with all relevant questions on Belgrade and Serbia. The hostel is not a big one but this makes it really cosy. It is located close to Skadarska street which is very close to the center. To sum up, I truly recommend it as a good place to stay in Belgrade!

Old Town Hostel East Wing

Kotor, Montenegro
100%

A perfect place to stay in Kotor. It is located in the very center of the oldtown, but only some 5-7 minutes away from the bus station (on foot!). The staff is very friendly, energetic and helpful. The interior design of the rooms fits very much the atmosphere of Kotor oldtown. Conclusion: more than recommended!”

Accommodation Milla

Ulcinj, Montenegro

The location is very advantageous in terms of the must-see objects in the town (very close to the seashore, central shopping street and quite close to the fortress). However, if you have a bulky luggage you will probably need a taxi from / to the bus station. If you want to get there on foot, just head for the seashore and then ask the locals for "Mila" The room was good - cozy, clean and nice.

El Diablo Hostel Belgrade

Belgrade, Serbia

A perfect place to stay in Belgrade. Located close to the bohemian street of Skadarska, it is also a very easy exit point to reach all must-see objects in Belgrade. The staff is very friendly and ready to give all necessary information about Belgrade and Serbia (in case they don't know something, they will look it up). They gave us even a lesson about Serbian folk dances! The hostel is quite a small and cosy one.

Czech Inn

We were staying both in a shared room and in a double appartment. The latter was really perfect, and it is worth it! You will have good infrastructure, nice kitchen, a roof terrace and a cozy room. The bathroom is shared with another room in the same appartment. A perfect value for money. Regarding our previous stay in a shared room, unfortunately we had bad neighbours to live with (loud and drinking), and they made our stay difficult. But it was not the hostel's fault.

Like Hostel Chernivtsi

Chernivtsi, Ukraine

You won't regret coming here! The hostel has opened recently, is not (yet) too aglomerated, and the owner gives particular attention to keep every guest satisfied. The facilities are clean, you will get your bed linen, towels and keys for a locker for free, without any extra fee or deposit. Centrally located - you will find appropriate roadsigns at Kobylianskoi or Eduarda Raysa which will guide you to the destination.

Brunsko

Dubrovnik, Croatia

The hostel is nice and the whole family runs the hostel with a lot of devotion. The welcome is warm, you are picked up from the bus station, given a welcome cup of juice, a map and told what's Dubrovnik about. The really bad thing about the hostel is location- the bus to the center runs once in 30 minutes. Probably there are more rooms for rent in the center for a similar price.. Plus, the hostel is located on a steep hill and the locals are not always to help you with the address..

Evropa Hotel

A very nice hotel, located centrally. Despite the proximity of the railway station, you don't hear much of that in your room. The standards are much higher than in case of many places which can be found on this website. Delicious breakfast :)

Guesthouse Velania

Pristina, Kosovo

A nice hostel with cozy rooms and good service, but located far away. You need a walk of some 25 minutes from the city center, but if you go from/to the bus station, it's better to take a taxi. Before you come to Prishtina, try go get some map of the town: the one which you get in the hostel is really bad.

A really nice hostel, the location is very central but... you might have to search it for a longer time. But it is worth it! Be prepared to be woken up in the early morning by a muezzin.

Pensiune Venus

Don't recommend it: it should be a pension with separate rooms, but... no towels, no soap, and the staff is not too friendly, and cannot communicate well in any other languages than Romanian. The lady was even surprised when I asked her to call a taxi after check out - her question was "Don't you have your own cellphone?". Besides, it's quite far away from the centre. To sum up, it would be good if it cost half of the price. But at the current stage, it is not worth the money.

City Hostel

Skopje, Macedonia
97%

A big plus for the staff - the owner will provide you with all necessary information and hints, wherever you intend to go. Don't you have a town plan of Ohrid? Are you looking for the timetable of buses to Prishtina? Don't you know how to go to Belgrade best? Do you want to eat out in Skopje in a traditional Macedonian restaurant? No worries, the owner is an encyclopedia in anything you need to know about Macedonia and neighbouring countries! Location: after 10 min walking you reach the centre.

The Loft Hostel

Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria

Excellent choice! The staff was really friendly and willing to help, the rooms were clean and spacious. The location is in the very centre, but this has also a minus: if you have a bigger luggage, remember that the taxi cannot drive you to the door of the hostel - prepare for a stairway. But still, I really recommend it!

Hostelgate B'n'B

A very nice hostel, centrally located, very friendly staff. The only problem is the scarce number of toilets (just 3 for the whole building), but the staff promises to improve it soon

Excellent choice! Friendly staff, cosy rooms plus a romantic garden to sit outside! Although somewhat far from the nearest metro station, but still the center can be reached within 15 minutes of walk.

Locomotive Light Hostel

Good choice! It is a small, very clean, cosy hostel with a common kitchen. The staff is extremely friendly helpful (althugh we met only one guy who was available almost 24h a day, did the whole cleaning etc.). Located close to the railway station, a good choice for those who have bulky luggage. But remember, all sightseeing objects are rather far away, so a 3-day metro ticket would be helpful.

Very friendly and devoted staff. Monica did not hesitate to pick me up from the bus station at 5:30 AM in the morning. This is a high class service!
