Great location. Close to Taxim, but in a residential area so you can see real Turkish life. Also you don't hear the call to prayer hear so you can get a peaceful night' sleep if you are not accustomed to this part of Islamic culture. Clean, friendly, and welcoming. Thanks!
Mega hostel, but the staff does a great job making it feel more personal. Hostel bar was one of the better nightlife spots in town. Rooms are very clean, beds are exceptionally comfortable and the ensuite shower for each room is a big plus. Affordable breakfast and lots of other travels to meet. Good wifi in lobby. OK wifi in rooms.
Good hostel with good layout and facilities. Big enough that you can meet people, but not so big that it has no character. Fast wifi, clean, good kitchen, easy walking distance to sights and nightlife areas. Staff was really great, especially Orsi who took a lot of time to recommend locations, things to do, and even a secret hamburger restaurant only known to locals.
Great location, perfect environment for relaxing, excellent balcony for evening conversations, friendly and helpful staff, free breakfast. Thanks, Nicola!
Excellent beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location to get a good nights rest, but still just a short walk to the action. Free coffee / tea. Huge common room. Balcony great for views / relaxing. Perfect!
Great atmosphere! Close to tourist attractions and nightlife. Hostel was very clean and lockers for security. Lots of fun travelers from many countries and even some free rakia shots! Common room is great for meeting people. Kisses ~ Fernanda from Rio (and friends!)
The staff is so nice!!! Comfortable beds, lots of travelers from around the world so you can meet so many people, a restaurant / cafe, good wifi, and very clean. Even the facilities managers are so nice, happy, and friendly. Thanks Lyudmilla!!!
Really nice young women providing a really nice accommodation. Thanks!
It's a Wednesday night and you're visiting an old friend. After some good conversation some of your friend's friends drop by and soon you're having great conversations with new friends. After a while a skilled guitarist provides a melodic background as you enjoy a drink and swap stories of travel and adventure. This is what it feels like to spend a night in The Purple Goblin. You're having so much fun you wonder if you can extend your stay...
Cool building with an artsy vibe. Big enough to be a mega-hostel, but feels very friendly and a lot of guest-interaction. The girls that work there are really nice and the owner, Anton, is always looking out for the guests. Definitely recommend it!
Really great hostel. The guy who works the front desk during the day was especially helpful and I appreciated his upbeat, friendly demeanor. Really cool guy! Hostel faces quiet side street so good for a good night's rest. Facilities are very clean and nice. Some beds could use a bit of a refresh though, but pretty minor compared to all the other great things.
Had a nice time. Things to consider...very slow internet. Can get rowdy at night. Excellent location. Good price on laundry. The young woman they recently hired was really enthusiastic and fun to speak with. Wish I caught her name to thank her personally for a great stay.
Great location. Hostel is just the right size where you can meet people in a relaxed way (not like a mega-hostel). Great coffee. Laundry on site. Dustin is always there to help you with anything you might need and also just to relax and hang out with guests. Really cool guy.
Friendz has a relaxed, laid back beach feel. It's an excellent choice for those looking to meet others and party all at a fraction of the price of neighboring hotels. The on site kitchen serves good food (try the mango chicken) and although the hostel gets lively nearly every night, they do a great job at shutting down the noise at 11pm and relocating the party outside to the bars. I had a great time.
Very nice and friendly girl working reception. Great hang out area with bar / swimming pool. Facilities might benefit from a refresh. Excellent choice for having fun and meeting other travelers. Thanks!
Very clean. Good location. Nice swimming pool. No free wifi or internet unfortunately. Enjoyed the stay. Thanks!
Conveniently located close to the main train / bus stations, supermarkets, excellent sightseeing areas, and the best nightlife. The living room is set up in the true hosteling spirit and provides a comfortable, clean, and relaxed environment for meeting fellow travelers. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are also quick to join in the fun which adds to an already excellent experience. They even have an on-site pub crawl director who is excellent at arranging nightlife activities. Thanks!
I really enjoyed my time at Dream Hostel. Yura was especially helpful with his "Word of the Day" game, playing movies for us, and recommending sites to see. Clean, great location, and nice beds.
Booked for three nights, stayed for 10 days. Hostel is just the right size...only 12 people max so you can really get to know other people, but still have a great time. Lots of open spaces for relaxing so nothing feels cramped. Lots of art everywhere, clean, great location, and the staff are very quick to help with anything and everything, but also relaxed enough where you feel like you're lounging and having a tea with an old friend. Thanks Jelena, Bojana, Milos, Mika, Bojan, and Dunja!!!!!
Great location for a both a quick stay (right across the street from the train / bus station) and also a base for longer-term exploration of Belgrade. Lots of bathrooms / showers so no waiting. Air conditioning...very important in summer in Belgrade! Helpful staff. Thanks!
Everything so clean and new. Metro to football only 4 minutes! Free computers. Fun bar. Nice guests! Quiet location with very comfortable beds so great for good sleeping. Thanks Lesya and Yura at Dream Hostel who recommends me this beautiful home away from home. (Sorry for my no so good English). - Fernanda from Rio de Janeiro sends you a kiss!!!

Since I a young Brasilian girl by myself I was not so sure how South Africa be like and a little nervous. Thanks God for Stephen and Wayne at this beautiful home away from my home. They help me to have very nice time and tell me good places to see, eat some local foods, and take the photos! The beds were better than my own house and everything and everywhere so clean. I love this place! Thanks you guys! (Sorry for my no so good English). - Fernanda from Rio send you a hug!!!
Since I a young Brasilian girl by myself I was not so sure how Ukraine be like and a little nervous. Thanks God for Yura at Dream Hostel. He help me to have very nice time and tell me good places to see, eat some local foods, and take the photos! I also make a friend with Nika. She is so nice girl and fun to chill with. I love this place! Thanks you guys! (Sorry for my no so good English). - Fernanda from Rio send you a kiss!!!
Rob and Jo are really great hosts. Avoid the lift lines and hustlers at Chungking Mansions and head to YesInn. Fast internet, dedicated cleaning staff, friendly vibe, and a common room (rare in HK). This is the best option in Hong Kong by far. My 3rd visit.
Aricio is one of the best hostelowners I have met. He is a fun guy who arranged beach bonfire barbeques, World Cup outings, helped with all sorts of advice and directions, and does whatever it takes to make sure you have a great stay.
Excellent social atmosphere. The staff (Neco, Tariq, and Volcano) really go out of their way to make you feel at home. Excellent breakfast and every night the rooftop bar is full of life. The management recently opened a new resort (at hostel prices) which includes ecological activities and a swimming pool in a beautiful area of Turkey that may be the most amazing "hostel" you will ever see.
YOU ARE SAFE HERE. If you are looking for a safe place to stay in Bangkok that is far away from the protests you are in the right place. The hostel is quaint, very well run, fully staffed at all times, friendly, and provides excellent security. The staff go out of their way to help you and make your stay enjoyable. Very short walk to the major tourist areas such as Khao San Road, The Grand Palace, and many great eating areas. Also an excellent (and free) outdoor weightlifting area nearby.
I have stayed in many hostels all over the world. This one is the best.
I booked for two nights and stayed for two weeks. Feels like a very nice family-run hotel. One of the two best hostels I\'ve ever stayed in. Pros: swimming pool, location to the most popular club, five minute walk to the beach, excellent in-house cook with excellent pricing. Cons: none
