The bed felt amazing after a weekend spent camping! Not as lively as I thought it would be, though, and felt a bit too far away from things happening in Birmingham. Enjoyed the free tea and cake, and was glad to be able to leave my stuff in the luggage room after checking out so I could explore Brum for the day.

The room was AMAZING!!! Spacious and airy - very West End! A bit taken aback by the unisex shower and toilet cubicles, though - it felt a bit nerve racking having people come in and out. All in all, I'd consider coming back if all the places I planned to go to were within easy travelling distance from here.

Great location and clean room. However, one of the towels provided was a bit grubby and I noticed mould on one of the slices of bread provided for breakfast. Atmosphere was OK, but not conducive to hanging around too long after checking out.

Great location and excellent value. Very small room, though! But it was warm (with an extra bedsheet in the wardrobe!)

Excellent value for money for London! Not very central, though.

Great central location, and very quiet considering the hotel was between 2 takeaways and above a pub. The receptionist who was there when I checked in was very friendly and chatty, and gave me some great recommendations for stuff to do in Glasgow (including visiting the uni, where all the Harry Potter films were set). The room was clean and in reasonable condition, but VERY cold - grateful for the electric heater in there

Lovely and quiet, but not the place to stay if you're looking to go out and party. A bit of a hairy experience coming back late at night after various public transport delays. All in all, very good value and friendly staff.
