Great little villa. Will definately be going back. The only problem was no hot water. Quiet (don't go here to party, it's in the middle of nowhere) and great views from the terrace. Fantastic value for money.

Beautiful Riad with great rooftop views. Good breakfast. Very secure. Right near the port and in the Medina. Bathroom was very damp smelling.

Very noisy outside at night with the bin collections both nights we were there. Very friendly staff who speak English. Quite hard to find it in the maze of streets, but right in the heart of where the sights are. Very secure.

La Casa Del Sol

Very friendly staff. Brilliant location. Much more of a hostel than a true riad feel but great for backpackers and still far more charm and authencitity than the hotels outside the medina walls. Roof terrace not that good though, no shaded area or sun-loungers / comfy seats like the previous 3 riads i've stayed in. Only let down was we payed for a private room with on suite, but there was NO hot water. It was very cold!

Riad Sidi Omar

Absolutely fantastic riad. I've stayed in 4 in Marrakesh and this was the best. Big bedroom, really good roof terrace with sun-loungers, plus a shaded tent area with comfy sofas - as well as sofas outside our room. The breakfasts were huge and available at any time in the morning. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. It's a little tricky to find the first time, but once you do, it's a location right near the souks and 5mins from the the main square.

Central location but a bit difficult to find & get into with only a back entrance & 3 flights of stairs to negotiate! Once up there very secure though! If your on a tight budget & need a comfy bed in a secure, clean room it's a very good option.

Villa Anna Maria

A unique building of 8 really homely rooms of varying design.Location is a little out of town but there are plenty of facilities around & cheap authentic restaurants. The owner of the hostel was like the 3 dogs that lived with him there -very friendly & always pleased to see you! He can organise diving trips & I highly recommend his (PADI qualified) friend (Jordan) who is the best instructor I've ever had.(Very friendly, enthusiastic & helpful)

My room (103 at the back of the hotel) seemed to be next to a really noisy & smelly generator out the back, so leaving the window open at night to keep cool when you sleep was a not an option. With that and no air-con or a fan, i'd say avoid this room in August, unless you are using it as a sauna! That said, the hotel (it's not a hostel really) is great value for money otherwise. It's very low budget, but it's secure, has friendly staff & is alot cheaper than other hotels in the same area. Beds aren't great, but if you are really tired from partying (why else come to San-Antonio???) it's not going to matter! The room was well cleaned every day. Location is great if you want to be in the centre of things at San-An & a it's short walk to the sunset strip. It's right near the bus station as well for trips around the Island.
