Isaacs Hostel

Dublin, Ireland

Nice staff and good breakfast. It feels and sounds like a college dorm (majority of clients in early 20s). It is a loud place with people yelling in the hallway and alleyways. The weighted room doors slam shut when they close. Not enough sitting space for number of clients. It is located a few blocks from the worst part of Dublin. I walked 3 blocks north of the hostel and got my iPhone snatched at an intersection during the day. Would not recommend this place. Stay south of river.

7x24 Central Hostel

Budapest, Hungary

Hostel is located on the 5th floor of a building overlooking an inner courtyard. Doors are keyless entry with numeric keycode pads-very convenient. Facilities were really clean and the hosts extremely pleasant and helpful. Two computers with internet access. Not the fastest but free! Fun decor. Much recommended.

Hostel Blues

Bratislava, Slovakia

The rooms were clean but our shower in the double room did not have hot water. The staff are nice but don't smile much. Free internet usage is good. People made a lot of noise leaving and coming in the middle of the night. Perhaps signs should be put as a friendly reminder in each suite.
