Overall the hostel was nice and warm however it should be noted that you have to go upstairs and through the kitchen to access to most of the rooms. It should also be noted that the toilets/bathroom facilities are located downstairs, beyond the lounge and reception area (ie so if accommodated upstairs, one has to go through the kitchen, lounge and then reception area in order to get to the toilets/bathroom facilities).

Whilst my generally comment/feeling about the hostel is good, the only negative I'd have to say is that it's noisy. The hallways leading to the rooms are hollow so all noises travel through quite easily. The general clientele that was there during my stay was quite young and therefore quite raucous and uncaring towards anyone else that might be staying at the hostel.

Location was excellent with the lockers inside the rooms providing great space to lock your things away. The downsides to this property are the noise (it´s endless), cleanliness with respect to the bathroom facilities and broken airconditioner in the dorm room that I slept in. The noise was ridiculous as not only was the noise from the street penetrating through (to be expected considering it´s great location so close to everything), but the area outside the dorm room I was in was treated like social/communal areas by others with many a drunken sod making a racket there. It was questionned how often the bathrooms were cleaned-maintained as there were soap dispensers with no soap the whole time I was there not to mention sanitary bins without lids which were never emptied. In terms of the aircon, it never got tended to as it was broken for the 3 nights that I was there (and would be a good solution to circulating air in the room whilst we kept the balcony doors shut to keep out the noise).
