Nice quiet place close to British Museum. Simple breakfast - coffee/tea, toast, cereal. Good wifi - could Skype back home. Good value, but you need to book early?

This is the sister hotel to Frendz, so the activities, etc. are there -- but it is the quiet hotel. So you enjoy the party at Frendz, but go back to Casamso when you want some peaceful rest. Internet connection (wi-fi) is great, and I could Skype from my room. Staff is very helpful and knows everyone by name. No pool, but the rooms have a/c, fan, and cable TV (lots of news channels, movie channels, and cartoons for the kids). Breakfast is 260 pesos, with eggs, toast, beans or bacon, mango.

Great Locationl, quiet and secure. Very clean. Good Wi-Fi, but had problems with Skype calls back home (faded out). Breakfast is coffee and pastry at cafe next door. TV cable only had Spanish & Catalin stations. Difficult to meet other travelers. Helpful and friendly staff. Good Value.

Quiet, clean, and only 5-10 walk to San Marco Square. Great Wi-Fi connection, so good Skype connection for calls back home. Basic breakfast of coffee, pastry, cereal, yoghurt. Only a few rooms with 2 bathrooms and usually no one is around -- so you need to email ahead with your arrival time. Very conscientious about keeping the place clean and being there on your arrival. Difficult to meet other travelers, except maybe at breakfast. Good value, but 70 steps up to the guesthouse (no lift).

Stayed in Private Room with toilet and shower, located next to the dining/meeting area. Staff was fairly good at policing the 10 PM curfew for the dining/meeting area. There is a full kitchen, but many people use it. Private room had cable TV, coffee maker, refrig, safe and fan. Good location in Kings Cross, close to the Metro. Also, hourly van service to/from the Airport. Good place to meet other travelers.

Recomended, clean, quiet room close to D'Mall. Good free Internet -- could Skype most days. Cable TV with many English channels (inc. Fox New, BBC, CNN, plus HBO). Great A/C which you control. Breakfast costs 260 PHP. Jeff & his staff are very helpful and friendly, Daily housekeeping.

Recommended. I actually stayed at their location across the street. Great location near the shopping. Supermarket around the corner. Really do have 24 hour reception. Good Internet in rooms -- could Skype friends back home. Cable TV with about 12 channels, though only 1 in English (Pearl TV). Great showers with hot, hot water. Breakfast area only has coffee/tea from 8-10 AM. It was fairly quiet when I was there -- several Spanish families. Otherwise, could be a good place to meet others.

Great Wi-Fi connection, plus one terminal in the Library, where there is also a TV. Good location near British Museum, Simple breakfast with coffee/tea, toast, and cold cereals. Very international mix during breakfast, though many did not use the Library. No problems with the shared toilets/showers on each floor.

More of a feel of a Hotel than a Hostel. Very clean, modern, with 24 hour reception and daily housekeeping. Simple breakfast (you make your own coffee with Espresso Machine), Cable TV with 40-50 channels, all in Spanish except the Discovery Channel. Many rooms have a small balconey -- where you can stand, but too narrow for a chair. Good Location near La Ramblas.

The bad news -- it is on the 3rd floor with no lift. At first the location seems out of the way, but it is less than a 10 minute walk to St. Mark's Square. It is in a quieter area with more locals. Fabio is very helpful and gives you a map on arrival. There are 2 shared bathrooms (with soap, shampoo and toothpaste), but you rarely sees the other guests except perhaps at breakfast -- which is simple but with good coffee. Great Wi-Fi connection.

Recomended. Close to the Beach and D'Mall and yet in a quiet area (though one guy complained about the roosters). Free wi-fi at the sister hostel next door (Frendz), where you can buy breakfast, drinks and socialize. Staff calls you by name. TV in the room had lots of English channels and the AC was good, though the hot shower pressure wasn't so great. Daily cleaning of the rooms is nice since sand gets in even though you wash your feet before coming in.

Highly recommended. They really do want you to have an enjoyable time in the Philippines -- arranged bar hopping by night (maybe dress code, no sports shoes), day trips. Great place to meet others! Basic breakfast, good Wi-Fi plus 2 terminals, great showers, A/C in private room, but no TV. Downside, walls are thin and difficult to get good nights sleep because people are always socializing. Great location and great value.

Good location in Chinatown though a little difficult to get to when all the selling booths are set up in the street in front. Great value, good showers, individual safes in the lobby. A/C in the rooms can't be controlled. Hot & cold drinking water available on the 2nd floor (bring your own cup). Difficult to meet others, though there are chairs, TV, and computers in the lobby. Good location on the main street, 10-15 minute walk to the beach. Helpful, friendly staff. Daily room cleaning with 2 bottles of water. Room safe, TV with several English news and movie channels, refrigerator, hot showers. Free Wi-Fi - my device couldn't connect, but there was one terminal in the lobby. Breakfast was different each day - pastry / fried rice / egg sandwich - with fruit, tea/coffee. Small but adequate. No good place to meet others, though there are chairs in the lobby

Good location behind main shopping mall. Free Wi-Fi, good showers, A/C is coin-operated at $1 for 3 hours. Book tours with a give back of some of their commission. Free shuttle to the pier for boat trips they book. Only complaint is the dog next door that barks at some passers-by. Otherwise, a good quiet night's sleep -- not a party hostel, but they share Monday night BBQs at their sister hostel.

Within walking distance (10 minutes) to the Ein Gedi public beach -- snack bar, showers, etc., but the restaurant there was closed down. Next door to the Natural Reserve Park (5 minutes). Weekends, youth tours (buses) stop at the Hostel for 1 or 2 nights. Large buffet breakfast is included. And now there is free Wi-Fi in the rooms. Rooms were cleaned daily, with new soap, towels, and free coffee/tea. Not a great place to meet other travels, except at breakfast.

Centrally located and about 2 blocks from the beach, Momo's is a good place to meet other travelers in their breakfast/TV room . I was in a single room with shared toilet/shower and with a TV (Fox news, National Geographics, etc). Free wi-fi, but you need to be in the breakfast/TV room. Common areas cleaned several times a day, but no maid service in the rooms. Breakfast is coffee/tea with a large chocolate (or other) filled roll. This is a B&B where they rent out 3 rooms using a common bathroom. It is 5-10 minutes walk to Rialto Bridge in a quiet corner near St. Paolo square. There is free Wi-Fi, and breakfast of coffee, juice, toast & cookies. There is no common area for meeting the other tourists, no TV. You get 3 keys - building, apartment & room - but very important to let them know by email when you are arriving, so someone will be home to give you the keys.

Great location in historic Istanbul. Daily housekeeping, towels and nice buffet Turkish breakfast (boiled eggs, turkish pancakes, olives, etc.). Keys are left at Hotel, so you always need to ring (24 hour reception) to enter. Rooms have Wi-fi, and their website nicely shows all the rooms. Room 12 by the entry overlooking the street can get some street noise at nice. Owners were always there at breakfast to answer any questions. I would stay there again.

Very nice guesthouse next to the Flower Market with a few rooms sharing the bathroom. Cable TV (CNN & BBC) and you can make coffee/tea in the morning, but no breakfast included. Edwin is a very pleasant host and he runs the Downtown restaurant on the ground floor. The only downside is the street noise at night from the bars down the street. But I would definitely stay there again.

I stayed at the single room (not the main hostel) near the Billa Supermarket more than half way walk to Rialto Bridge. You get keys to building, floor and room.-- there are no staff there, no breakfast, wi-fi, or common area. But it is like your own private hideaway. There is a security camera in the hallway, but I never saw anyone else. You can make coffee/tea and there is a refrigerator and TV -- with 100s of italian channels, none english.

A great place for Naples. Most staff does not speak much English, but they are friendly and try to be helpful. Very clean and the TV has 40 channels -- though all in Italian. They had to switch my room after the first night, so they gave me a 3 day Pass for the local buses and to visit 2 museums for free. Very nice.

Great place with friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast on the rooftop terrace. Organized a wonderful trip to Afroditsas and Pammukale.

Great Place but don't expect to sleep before 2 AM due to the bar below. One of the more lively places in Bodrum. Great location and very clean.

Great location behind Tansas Store -- central but quiet. Owner provides free internet and sometimes even apple tea, turkish tea or cola. He has a very fat cat that only sleeps and eats. Rooms are very clean and the owner is very eager to please.
