Guilin Riverside Hostel

Guilin, China

We only stayed at the hostel for one night - it was a perfect location. In the evening we walked towards the town with the pretty lakes, I'd say it was a 20 minute walk. We felt very safe in the location. It might be a bit difficult to find the location (we were brought by a taxi driver who struggled a bit), so I'd advise to print a map of the location. We booked a tour with a raft to Yangshuo ,that as all organized well by the hostel, and at a very good price.

Happy Dragon Hostel

Beijing, China

Had a great time. Took part in free 2 hour bicycle tour, this was great fun and already worth the stay in the hostel. After 5 days wanted to extend our stay but the hostel was full,so they organized us a stay in their sister hotel. It was great, it was a hotel aimed at Chinese so it felt more like being on a proper holiday in China. Not sure why some people complain about the sister hotel,it's less than 1min away, clean, very friendly staff and no noise. For beer and tour queries went back to hostel
