Bed'nBudget Cityhostel

Hannover, Germany
77%

The rating may seem low but really actually liked it here, for me as others have pointed out it is just missing some key things for a hostel experience. Most importantly rooms need lockers. Second be good to have free wifi (it's €5 per day). Lastly a kitchen / common area would make it pretty awesome. Putting that aside rooms were comfortable and large. Beds had a couple of powerpoints and reading light each. Our room also had a tv and fridge and some cupboards to store stuff (not lockers!)

Great place about 2 minutes away from neustadt station. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Rooms were basic and getting ready maybe for a touch up but comfortable with good amount of room and also had decent sized lockers (could fit big backpack in). Showers and toliets were ok. Big kitchen and hang out space. Walking distance to everything (15-20 minutes to old town)

Lovely place to stay. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Rooms are big and comfortable with good beds. Bathrooms are large and with good showers. There is a great terrace to hang out. It is located around 5 minutes from the medina and around the same from the bus stop and grand taxi stand. Breakfasts are good. Highly recommend.

Great rias. Joe and his brother are warm and welcoming hosts and very informative about the few quirks of the place (such as getting the temp in the shower just right). The rooms are thoughtfully painted and decorated and the roof terrace is amazing, could hang out there for days! I also have to say they keep the place very very clean. As with many place little hard to find at first but after that very easy to navigate, about 5-10m walk to the plaza.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Very good setup with friendly and informative staff, good sized dorm rooms each with its own bathroom and good spaces to hang out including a terrace. It's about a 10 min walk to medina It is a bit of a young persons hostel and probably a bit of a challenge getting to sleep before midnight. Rooms could do with new pillows and additional lockers.

Great Riad for the price range. Very close to the square but also very quiet. Staff a very friendly, welcoming and helpful (note: only the guy who works nights speaks English). We ended up staying a couple of times, both occasions in doubles. Found room 3 the better of the two, bit smaller but a bit quieter during the day (the other was room 4). Good basic breakfast included.

Excellent hostel just outside Penzance (about 15 minutes walking). It is in a beautiful old manor house, set up taking perfect advantage of the building with crisp and clean spaces. Rooms are big and airy and beds very comfortable with nice touches such as a personal reading light and powerpoint along with normal things such as big lockers. Has one of the best set up hostel kitchens we have come across. Only two dowsides - the bathroom to person ratio could be better and late check in time (4pm)

Great hostel. Rooms (even 16 bed dorm) were spacious with nice personal touches. Nice classic bar area - great hot chocolates and a reasonable breakfast (costs extra). Recommend the boat from the airport as probably the best way into the city (and probably cheaper in the end). The only issue is that it is not on the main island so if you are here for a couple of days buy a daily/weekly travel card for water bus,

My second stay and here and just as good as the first. It may seem a little out of town but numerous transport options including the train, metro and numerous buses nearby it is not a problem. Really liked it here. Large spacious hostel with comfortable and warm beds, nice hot and powerful showers, good sized guest kitchen along with a reaonably priced priced privately provided meals. The only slight thing is that to access some dorms you have to go in via another room - did not bother me much.

Decent hostel in a very central location. Dorms are spacious and with electronic lockers and underbed lockers plenty of room for valuables and large bags. Staff are very helpful. I find the music a bit loud and repetitious at times but was generally quiet after midnight. The air conditioning was either a godsend or an annoyance cant make up my mind but cartagena is pretty hot so probably the former. Good social areas, ok kitchen and ok wifi (although on my second stint did not work well)

I ended staying 9 nights both in a single and a double. Great little set up. Rooms are set around a central attruim which lets lots of natural light into the common spaces and also as a couple of nice outdoor spaces. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable and the dorm has its own large bathroom and is extremely clean with firndly staff. The downsides are that is a bit noisy due to it being on a busy road (ask for an internal room) and also is about a 20 minute walk to town (but it is flat)

Really good place. Bit of a party atmosphere, but even when I was there over Friday and Satruday night everyone goes out between 12-1 so after that it is extremely quiet, but could be a bit noisy if you want to sleep before then on the weekends at least. Good open spaces with reasonable sized dorms and with numerous lockers (albiet in the main common area), but kitchen was a little small maybe if your planning on cooking. Staff were extremely helpful, even though I only spoke little english.

It is a bit of surf hostel but a good one. You are made to very welcome from the moment you get there regardless of how busy it is (we were slightly off season but the first couple of nights the place seemed full) and I think that is its biggest selling feature. Dorms are well dorms maybe a bit dark but comfortable/roomy. Facilities were good, although fixing the stove so more gas comes out would be helpful and a through clean would do the place lots of good (its not dirty though). Will be back

This was a great find and one of our favourite hostels in bolivia. Like many hostels set in a old colonial house right near the main plaza but not too far a walk from the bus stop. Absolutely fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay here. It has a fantastic vibe and atmosphere and wonderful staff. Oh and its clean, maybe too clean! It has more facilities than you can think off and a great place to stop and relax for a few days. Awesome awesome awesome we are so sad to be leaving

Hospedaje Brabant

W stayed in a double and found the hostel was basic but very good. Staff were extremely helpful and the biggest plus of the place. We booked our flight over the nazca lines through the hostel and it was great (and same price as everywhere else). Good location central but not on main plaza so not too noisy. Its also possible to walk to the bus station but if you have luggage recommend catching a taxi (should be 3 soles)

We both had a great stay. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable of how to get to places around the city. Hostel was in a good location and very clean and well maintained. Stayed in a room on the roof which was good but could be a bit noisy for light sleepers but its not overly a noisy hostel.

Spent a wonderful 10 days here, great and friendly set up - basic (just a bed) but very pleasant. Very good location only 5 minutes walk back to main village and 20 minutes to what I thought was the best beach on Koh Chang althought bit of a drive (close to an hour) from the pier
