Kuldeep Friends Hostel

New Delhi, India

Good value for the money. I arrived late (1am) and the owner Sunny went to look for me. It's very close to the Delhi train station, so you can just walk from there and save money cause you don't need to pay a tuk tuk. Shops, restaurants and metro are close to the hotel. And they have hot shower and free wifi.

Backpacker Friends Guest House

Seoul, South Korea

Nice place close to bar restaurants and 2 metro stations. Laundry service is free and Patrick (in charge of the hostel) is a great guy. He speaks very good english as well as chinese and japanese! I booked one night and ended up staying 5 nights. Definetly good value for the money.

Very nice place close to the main square where you can take the river cruise to the gorges. Staff is great and very helpful. All the girls speak good english. Special thanks to Sandy who helped me every time I asked her for directions and she even wrote down papers in chinese for me so I wouln't get lost. i would definetly come back if I ever go to CQ again. They also have good food for reasonable prices and a big terrace so you can do your laundry.

Dear you, did you do your shave in Chengdu? That would make you younger and handsome, but that's not the point, what I am really concerned about is your fitness coz you're going to climb the Emei Mountain, so how are you? Take care! Sandy

Tavern 47

Shangri-la, China

Nice place. They had electric blankets. Staff speaks english. Good showers. Located in old town, Very close to town centre. Good breakfast.

Great hostel located in the Old Quarter. Staff is very friendly and speak english. I booked one night and stayed 3 more after returning from Sapa. Stayed in a 6 bed dorm. Each bed has 3 energy plugs and besides having the aircon in the room, you also get your own mini fan by the bed!! They offer tours and motorbikes for rent. Close to coffee shops, bars and restaurants. Excellent value for money. Daniel, from Chile.

Valentine Hotel

Hue, Vietnam

Best staff in my 3 weeks in Vietnam. All of them were nice & spoke good english. They helped me planning my Sapa-Halong Bay tour and their price was the same or cheaper than other travel agencies. (I asked in many agencies) 6 options for breakfast in the morning (included). After checkout, they let me use the shower, because I was leaving to Hanoi at 5pm. Location is quiet, but 3-5 minutes walking distance to bars, restaurants, markets and the river. Thanks Thao for all your help!! Daniel(Chile)

NgocThao GuestHouse

Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam

The staff is extremely nice. They will help you with anything you need. From maps and directions to booking buses or tours. Their tours have good prices. Laundry is also cheaper than other places. I liked the rooms; they have power outlets on every bed which I really apreciate having my phone and laptop wth me. Toilets are ok too. Again, the staff is wonderful. Thank you girls!!! The Travel Hub

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Great place to stay, near Chinatown and only a couple blocks away from the LTR station. The stuff is super friendly. A french guy helped me calling my cab and Nabin, (tall, long hair) was also super nice, showing me where to go, and even telling me where to stay when they where fully booked!! I stayed 2 times there and would definetly return.

Harbourside Backpackers

Sandakan, Malaysia

One of the best hostels I've been so far in Malaysia. Bathrooms are always VERY clean, towels and toilet paper provided, showers with hot water and working (at othr hostels I had to hold the hose with one hand cause it wasn't attached to the wall) , lockers, for free, internet access, power outlets on every bed (very important if you have cellphone, notebook, camera, etc) and the location is great, near shopping malls, restaurants, banks, supermarkets and bus stations. I would definetly come back

Stay-In Lodge

Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia

Good value for the money Con: internet only in lobby, and no power outlets in the room.

Raizzy's Guesthouse

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Lockers inside the room and the location is great, near train stations and shoping areas. Free buses around the corner to take you to the Petronas and shopping malls. The only problem was that the rooms were too small.

Broadway Hotel n Hostel

New York, USA

Nice place to stay in Manhattan. The subway lines are very close to the hotel. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The staff is very friendly and will help you with directions if you need them. Maggie, the "breakfast girl" is very nice and helpful. She gave me tips on where to buy souvenirs and best routes to walk around the city. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to the Big Apple.

Lagares Hostel

Mendoza, Argentina

Lagares Hostel is a very good place to stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They give you breakfast for free and they don't charge you for the use of wifi. They have onecomputer in the common area and a TV with DVDs in case you want to stay in. They also have tours to different excursions. I would recommend this place as I had a very good time here. Daniel from Chile

It's a clean and safe hostel, but with the directions n the web page, it's hard to find. Nice staff.

Sakura Hostel Asakusa

Tokyo, Japan

Very bad directions. It;s much, much easier to get there from tawarimachi station

Bangkok, Thailand

A very good hostel. Big bathrooms so you don't have to be waiting for the shower. They have a rooftop with washing machines and lockers in the first floor. The skytrain is 30 seconds walking distance. Only 40 minutes from the airport. After going to other cities in Thailand, I always went back to this hostel. Recommend.

It was a little far from JR lines, but near from temples and Asakusa area. The staff was friendly, and the girl on the frontdesk (Chiyo) was very nice and spoke very good english. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and convinient. Just a little hard to find the first time, cause the 24 hour restaurant is the only reference point

Oak Hotel

Tokyo, Japan

La ubicacion es muy buena. A solo 5 minutos caminando de la estacion de Ueno. El personal es muy amable y hablan ingles sin problemas. Existe un sistema de tarjeta para entrar a las habitaciones y no hay curfew. Recomendable
