This brand-new hostel is close to all places of interest in Setubal; the owner really likes to please his guests
Superb location, beautifull old house with nice garden. The bath- and toiletfacilities could be a bit better/ more, the breakfast is very basic, but in general a great place.
The homecooking - genuine Portugese style - contributed a lot to the warm atmosphere in the hostel.
Place with a lot of character, quiet and close to the old centre.
Perfect location. in the hart of the city. The reception behaves more instructif than welcoming and/or caring about hospitality.
A house with character at a 5 star location with a outstanding roofterras.
One of the hostels you will always remember, because it has real character. Good old fashioned hippie creativity mixed with smooth working bathrooms and other necessities.
The hostel is very well located, close to the centre, and at walking distance from - at the East side - the train station and at the Westside the busstation. I did read a negatif comment on the neighbourhood, I totally disagree with that opinion
It,s a hostel with a nice atmosphere. But bathrooms with toilets and showers in the same little room are not very efficient.
The place is beautifull, but so big that it is rather unpersonel. The inner garden is beautifull, thanks to the ,,artist in residence".
I liked the neighbourhood and creatif, easy going atmosphere of the hostel/ my room. The well made free(!) diner on sunday evening, All facilities that I appreciate were there: kitchen, free coffee and tea, laptopuse.
Very friendly staff. Good location. near the central station. Close to all the interesting places.
Bless Mamma and her sons for their insight in backpackers' needs and wishes and for their ambition to try to fullfill these. All with warmth and style. Thank you for all.
Good atmosphere, nice place. A bit far from town and restaurants, but the busconnection is reasonably good.
Very sympathetic place .
Perfect location, very friendly staff
Nice location with roofterras in the old town next to the cathedral, at 5 minutes walking distance from the busstation. Not a hostel but a small, with good taste decorated hotel.
Manager Sacha does everything to make your stay agreable. I was here in october, at the end of the season, so there were not many guests and the atmosphere was very relaxed. I think I would appreciate it less if the place was crowded. But a characteristic old building with a nice balcony and roofterras.
An exceptional hostel where people keep returning. A wonderfull lay- out, relaxed atmosphere, with clear rules, acceptable for everybody. A most hospitable hostel.
The hostel is small, nothing special, but close to the busstation and not too far from the citycentre. Very good for travellers in transit. The lady of the house did all possible to make the stay for all her guests as nice as possible. Very hospitable and friendly.
Beautifull hostel at toplocation in the centre of the old city. Very friendly and hospitable staff. The trips they organise, are a bonus.
Hotel Hora is a simple hotel, but everything functions. Good value for money. It lies a bit out of the way from the busstation (walking distance) and you need a local bus to visit the old centre of town. This is no problem in Rumania where public transport is well organised.
The hostel is a bit out of the way, in particular for people without a car which want to have diner in (the next) town - no more bus back after about 20.30 h. Luckely one of the guests took it upon him to cook a tasty diner for everyone who wanted to join in at low costs. Very sympathatic, should be institutionalised. The hostel is beautiful, but overbookings made it overcrowded. Two of the 3 showers are clumsily made, so you are asked in front to wipe the unavoidable flood from the floor.
Beautiful view from the little balcony of the rooms at the front of the hotel on El Teide, down the street and at the sea.
Hotel Condedu is located in the old centre of Badajos in a quiet street. Not at nr. 24 (private house), as indicated, but one block further, at the other side of the street. The good thing is that there is free use of computer, for the rest it is a characterless, efficient, place (nothing wrong with that)
Hotel Lux is ideally situated at the central square + park of Vlora. But..... there was total building- and reconstructionmania . The square and park and statue were under reconstruction, two new buildings at the other side of the square will still take sometime before they are ready to function as hotels. nevertheless, hotel Lux is a nice, not too big, new and modern hotel with all facilities you can wish for a reasonable price.
Well organised at an exceptional beautiful location with garden and fruittrees. Very good atmosphere, helpful staff.
Very hospitable owner Tommi does not regard anything as a problem and is extremely helpfull. I recommend a stay here, also because the hostel is located between harbour and busstation. Maria
New and up to date hostel. Very friendly staff,. but not always present. So stick to your time of arrival to get the key.
New hostel with good bathrooms and kitchen. Friendly staff, but only in the hostel to welcome you. So stick to the appointed time.
Staff is very helpfull and friendly. Facilities are great: wash, computer, airco , rooms have the right size in relation to the number of beds. Good location, close to the station with good local connections.
manager Raoul was very friendly and helpful. Good location with a (more or less) garden to sit outside. Functional kitchen
Friendly staff, good value for money.
Incredible beautiful location with a spectacular view, a reward after climbing the stairs. Hostel gives a good old fashiond hyppie impression, but is very well organised. Top of the bill.
Very sympathetic management by Manuel and Chris. Still a bit in the stage of starting up the place, which has a certain charme. With their dedication to their guests, they deserve to make the place succesful.l
Small place with a good atmosphere. Comfortable. But 10 o'clock check-out time is a bit early.
Perfect location between the old city and the train/bus station. Welloiled, big organisation. Spacious rooms and very basic breakfast.

One Room is a recently opened B&B in an exceptional tastefully decorated apartment. The lady of the house speaks English, is international orientated and very hospitable.
Such a beautifull hostel, almost perfect, but the bedbottoms in the dormatory are very bad, with two holes, split halfway.
