Room a good size, clean and relatively comfortable. Walls very thin . Found 9 am really late for breakfast. Latest in 3 months travelling in South America so spent lots of time reading and waiting. But breakfast good when it was time. They do not do laundry and don't ask them to. Way too expensive..

Hi, We are sorry to hear that your stay was not the fantastic service we strive for. Due to the house structure we sometimes find that noise transmits between the rooms and apologize for this. In regards to the breakfast, we always make the offer to eat earlier and thought that you were happy with eating at 8 on the days following your arrival. We don´t offer laundry service normally and are disappointed to hear that you were so dissatisfied with the service we tried to provide you.

Enjoyed our stay. Did a walking tour and cycle tour through them as well as the tango show. Staff extremely helpful. Rooms and beds fine. Internet intermittent but otherwise loved being on Florida and you don't notice the street noise with the air con on. Otherwise for all the activities the hostel was pretty quiet and I would recommend it.

We had a lovely time here. Lea was so helpful and dropped us off at a couple of places. There is a pool and you have the run of the house. Superb breakfast. Only problem is its position in a quiet residential area which has its pluses but also meant it was a hike to get there and taxi drivers didn't always know where it was, but as I said, Lea was very helpful and overall we enjoyed ourselves and would go back.

Was disappointed with hotel. Didn't service room so towels wet and toilet bin full and smelly in the heat! Front desk relies on back office so waiting to check in and waiting to check out. Couldn't find our second day! Breakfast worst in brazil over 3weeks. Cleanliness average only. No cover of any sort so had to wear clothes on chilly night. Sheet was not enough. But handy to city .

What a wonderful place in a lovely city. Right on the main road and all the sights in walking distance including the train to Tiradentes. They parked your car for you, clean, beds comfortable and lots of hot water. Staff didn't speak English but very helpful. Beautiful breakfast. All in all we really enjoyed our stay

We found the height too much and they let us leave a day early with no extra charge. They booked us on the mine tour which was fantastic. Breakfast was good, beds comfortable and room clean with lovely hot water. Handy to everything. A good place to stay.

Really handy to the Plaza. Clean rooms, beautiful beds and pillows, hot water. Booked Colca Canyon tour thru them and it was brilliant. 3 bedroom was all internal which I hate but only 1 night. Rest in 4 bed and there was a window. Lovely breakfast.

Handy to ruins and food but a walk to sea and artisans street but not toooo far. Security so good you have to be let in and out. Room average to poor cleanliness wise, but hot water and cheese and ham with bread for breakfast. Owner really friendly and helpful. Lots of info on how to get around and where to eat.

Loved the place. Go thru the gate and it is paradise. The rooms are lovely, clean, comfortable beds and pillows, TV, and a deck as well as a pool although it has to be said, August is not pool weather. The town and sea really close and you can swim in the sea in August. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby and a laundry. Lovely breakfast and helpful staff. Would be back in a flash.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Nice room although I wonder about the toilet seat covers! Comfortable bed. Hot water took patience. Better not to turn the light on. Breakfast was very good. A quick walk into the old city so very handy. Was in a room on the road so sometimes noisy but most of the rooms are not on the road. Staff in general very helpful. Hot drinks, pool table and wifi. Would stay there again.

A brilliant Guesthouse. Best value for money in Vietnam. Large room, balcony, shower sep from toilet, serviced every day, lift, computer in the room and extremely clean. Staff were wonderful. The breakfast tomato and onion omelette was really nice and an excellent price. Got a free welcome drink. Not right in town but only a walk away and very quiet. Only criticism: the cost of the tours was high. Cheaper elsewhere. Book the airport shuttle at Vietnam Airways. $2 pp. Hue only needs 2 days.

Vicky Boutique Guest House

Our room had been taken, but Vicky was happy to find us another. She is a travel agent and I think she overbooks her guesthouse and takes a cut on every guest she re-houses. The room she showed us was listed in the lobby at 145,000 but it was quoted to us at 408,000. She said we could take it or leave it so we left it. We were tired, hot and angry. Found a very nice room for 300,000. She is a saleswoman 1st and foremost.Be careful.

Not the cleanest place and the rooms were only serviced if you asked. No hot water. Do not eat their european breakfast. Luckily that was all we ate there. It was really bad and the price of the food was quite dear compared to town. Water is half the price just outside the gate. Would go it back. Staff were friendly and helpful however. And it was very handy to town and all restaurants. Loved The Alley for food and the free dancing at Temple something on Pub Street.

We loved staying here. The staff were wonderful and the place was lovely. A long walk to the square for a man with a limp (my husband) but really not too bad. Thoroughly recommend it.
