Worth for the money. Pros: Close to the bus station and city center. Clean toilettes and showers. The staff was really great. Cons: It's really cold in the rooms. The kitchen closes after 10 PM. No breakfast included Overall great experience for a couple of nights.

Queens Park Budget Hotel

Glasgow, Scotland

Me and my girlfriend spent our New Years in Glasgow and booked with this Hotel. Considering that's it a HOTEL, it was really cool! We've booked a twin room and it was clean, victorian but a little bit cold. The money was totally worth it. We've got a small surprise as every morning there was a breakfast bag with milk, cereals and apple juice. Even more we also had biscuits tea and coffee ( instant ) available in the room. Free stable wifi available but a tad slow. Location is cool!

Hatters on Newton Street

We've spent a day in Manchester and we got there really early. The staff was friendly and great. The hostel is actually a chain of hostels so the charm goes away a little bit especially if you stayed in other places called the same :) Overall it was totally worth the money. Cons: 35% Cold in the room :) but thats the UK

Although its part of a chain of hostels it helt like an independent one. Really big and cosy. Free stable wifi and friendly staff. The room was really warm which was cool.

Best hostel we've stayed in England. The twin/private room was more than awesome although we think we got lucky about it. The rest was really cool as there was free south park projected in the cafe downstairs. Location was incredibly cool and staff too. Cafe downstairs has good prices and good products too :)

Queen Elizabeth Chelsea

We just booked the cheapest hostel since we had camped the rest of the time during the Olympics 2012. I can say you get what you pay for in a good and bad way in the same time Pros: Fully sized bar, a lot of people, staff is very helpful, everything is pretty much cheap and you can find supermarkets in walking distance. Small terrace in the backyard Negatives: The 16 bed room is quite packed and if it's fully occupied it gets stinky over a night. Antique pipe system.Location Good price

Location, staff and overall price/what you get was really good. Unfortunately this is not a real hostel and the chance of meeting other people or socialising is kept to a minimum. Of course you could also book here and go across the street for a coffee ( since there's an youth hostel over there ). Overall as a couple we had a good quiet time at this hotel so it was worth the money but next time we would try something else.

As other comments said, the staff is really nice! We had a lot of fun at the hostel and it was like a Oasis for us considering a few days before we had too much sun in the south of portugal. Really chill place and the breakfast helps a lot! I would definitely go back there!

The staff was very helpful. The location central and when we've been there it had one of the best prices out of them all. I would go there again unless we'd find a cheaper Hostel :)

Counting Crows Hostel

Bucharest, Romania
91%

This is the best hostel in town if the character, atmosphere and interacting with romanian locals is what matters for you. Everything else you need from a hostel is there waiting for you. The area is not geometrically central but it'll show you more of Bucharest that otherwise you would've not experienced - of course it's perfectly safe. You'll love the people, enjoy!

Riad So Cheap So Chic

Marrakech, Morocco

Perfect riad. The interior garden is awesome. Very helpful staff. Lovely dogs. The breakfast is awesome. It is practically a oasis compared to the rest of Marrakech. The wireless internet connection is a little flakey. It breaks pretty often but its enough to just go and reset the wireless router which is at the front desk near the fax/phone :) It will instantly start working again. Its the type of hostel I would return to anytime.

Hostal La Mimosa

Very nice staff. One of the receptionists, which is tall and blonde is incredibly beautiful ( my opinion :P ) It's a little bit outside the city but if you're willing to pay around 1 euro for the bus one way it is really ok. It makes you feel like a local somehow :) Good value for money

Hotel Varusha

We booked 1 private twin room and 1 room with 2 beds. We end up at the hostel and the guy there who was not speaking english at all redirected us to another hostel ( Pashov as I've seen)where they wanted us to pay the entire sum of money (with the 10%again ) for one big 4 bed room.We didn't agree to stay with them and after finding a better hostel by ourselves it took 1 extra hour(language barrier) to cancel the reservation so they wont get the first nights money.

Hostel is really good, nice breakfast and very helpful staff. Only problem i encountered was with the internets... I never got to take advantage of that mostly because some people never feel like leaving it alone! :P They should definitely put a maximum timer for a person to use the computer... especially because it's only one.
