A good place among several hostels in a side street of the central train station. Quite convenient.
They are not allowed to have a guest kitchen, otherwise everything is available. No complaints !
Well situated and nice staff. Breakfast was also great, with delicious jam in home made looking jars - even if it comes from the supermarket. We liked the place. Just note that the busses don't go there directly on Saturday and Sunday and you have to walk a bit further if you arrive on a weekend.
We liked the room which was quite nice and calm, even if we had to drag our stuff up to the third floor with any lift. There is a nice kitchen and common room and even a market more or less in front of the hostel. Using the tramway, you get directly to the city center without any need to change.
It is essentially a classic youth hostel. It is not in the city center but there is a reduced parking fee if you go there by car. We have come by car and it was all right, but I guess if you use public transportation, it might be much more tiresome to get around. Breakfast was basic, but nothing to complain about.
It says Sorrento but you won't find it under Sorrento if you use your GPS because it is just a few steps outside of Sorrento in the close neighborhood and you have to walk about 20 minutes to get to the city center. It is much like the a collection of second class hotel rooms in the basement that you share with other people and actually less expensive than the rooms upstairs, but you share the common rooms and breakfast with the regular hotel guests.
Very nice and helpful staff. The location is excellent and we could reach all the places we wanted to visit by foot. We liked the atmosphere. Remember to bring your padlock for the night table.
Everything is new and perfect. The hostel is quite successful and has much people coming. The common rooms are agreeable but often crowdy and loud in the evening. The kitchen is perfect, but being there so many people, you may have to wait to find an empty place were to sit and prepare your food. It is situated one street behind the central station and it takes no more than 10 minutes to walk to the city center.
The location isn't actually in the very center but you get there easily by foot and we liked the hostel even if it isn't as modern looking as others we have seen. There are spacious lockers downstairs, just remember to bring your lock with you.
It's situated near to the old town and Parlament (the People's Palace) but still in a very quiet street which doesn't seem the be in the center of Bucharest ! The stuff was very friendly and helpful. We liked the atmosphere quite a lot and would return there without hesitation.
A nice and friendly place with a big central reception and sitting area which invites contacts and exchanges. It is true that there is only one big bathroom with the showers and restrooms, but we didn't have to wait at any time during our stay. The hostel is one stairs up (second floor if you consider the ground floor to be the first floor) and we had to pain with our heavy luggage, but one of the staff came readily to help us. We keep excellent memories and wouldn't mind to return there again.
It's an agreeable place with prewar architecture. Everybody is diligent to make you feel welcome and at home. We liked it.
Very nice building and excellent atmosphere. We had a 2 bed room with bathroom and it was like a hotel.
Excellent location just across the street from the main railway station. Good value for money even if each prestation has its own price tag: bed sheets, breakfast, computer print outs, playing billard (each minute is counted), etc.
Excellent location, especially if you arrive by plaine and train. Professional service, good prices, even if each small item has its own price tag: bed sheets, breakfast and even the print out of the plane reservation you have made by Internet. It is still an excellent location and good value for money and I don't hesitate to choose it again for some future trip.
A nice looking Jugendstil building with high ceilings as they used to build before WW2. There is an agreeable reception aria and bar. All single beds in the dormitories. Just remember there is no lift if you come with heavy luggage and you'll have to carry it up, but there aren't more than two floors to go.
It is essentially a Motel where you can leave your car in front of your room. We liked the land lady who speaks well German and Italian. We can't complain about the room either as we have even been upgraded in respect to our initial reservation. It was quiet and we have spent two excellent nights there. Complementary breakfast was "simple but free", as the sign in the breakfast room explains. The Motel is 5 miles from the city center, but you need a car anyway to get around.
Reception very helpful and an agreeable atmosphere. We spent an excellent night.
There were special conditions during the period of Oktoberfest, but the place was mostly calm and perfect. Breakfast form 7 am to 10 am in the basement is included. The people at the reception were helpful and I don't regret my choice.
A nice and clean place to spent a night or more. The kitchen is quite cosy and well equipped. The town is not quite as interesting as Helsinki and one gets quickly around. We did appreciate the public saunas which are better and more original than those actually available in Helsinki (at least in my judgement).

A quite convenient place if you want to spent the whole day wandering around Rome. There is a shuttle bus to the next train and subway connection every 30 minutes between 8 am and 11 pm for 1 € both ways (return ticket) and the train and subway ticket, 1.50 € for 90 minutes, takes you to most of the interesting tourist spots of the eternal city. Then you can easily walk by foot around the city center for the rest of the day or choose to take a day ticket for all public transports for 6 €.
An ex-4 stars (now 3 stars) hotel at an excellent price. There is a swimming pool at the hotel, but you have to inquire if it is actually in use when you go there. The hotel is on the outskirts of Bologne and you spend some time to get there and back to the city center.
Excellent location at walking distance from Amsterdam central train station. The rooms are more spacious than on other Amsterdam boat hotels where we have been staying before. On the other hand they do not offer any eggs for breakfast as elsewhere, but breakfast is still abundant and good.
The location is perfect and the stuff at the counter friendly and helpful. There is also a nice 'free' city tour at 10.45 am starting from the hostel and you can leave your luggage in a store room.
The stuff was very friendly and helpful. We like the look of the building with its high rooms and the confortable dorms with single beds. It was the perfect place to spend one night in Berlin, but staying there longer would have been even more interesting as you pay for your bed linen only once.
The location is perfect, coming from the central train station you cross the pedestrian precinct and reach the hostel/hotel within 10 minutes. It is actually a hotel with a budget rooms section, a perfect place if you have to spent a night between two flights. There is a good railway connection between the railway station and the airport. They have also two electric plugs with a shelf at each bed which comes very handy if you have any gears to charge. Unfortunately, there was no free WiFi.
We didn't pay attention to the note that the hostel may refuse guests over 40 as we had reserved a private two bed room, but on arriving at the premisses, we were told that we had to look for another place, which was not that easy, but finally we managed to find an alternative logging with the help of the Amsterdam tourist office, where we could spend to nights in a calmer and more becoming environment as the hostel stuff at the Amigo Hostel Amsterdam have assured as, "for our own well-being".

We loved our night spent aboard the hostel boat. The cabin was really minimal regarding space but happily we hadn't brought any big luggage. It was very quiet and in the very heart of Amsterdam. Breakfast was also great, even if we had to wait until 9 am. We'll definitely go back there whenever we'll return to Amsterdam without any big luggage.

Excellent location and good breakfast. There was an age limit for the room we had booked via Hostelworld, but they gave us a smaller room (with extra charge) which was all right. The window was broke and they managed to get it fixed before we came back in the evening. Luggage storage is proposed in free lockers in the court, but we had a suitcase which didn't fit in any of the lockers, but we managed to deposit it at he railway main station next doors, so this was not any real problem either.
Excellent location just in front of the railway main station. It is a big place with more than 800 beds but easy to get to and and very well situated when you arrive and part by plan or /train. They sent me an email with more information about the place prior to my arrival and they even have their own free iPhone app. Stuff was friendly and efficient. On the other hand, they can't loose much time with each individual customer and when we left, there was a row of people waiting to check in.
This is the Days Inn Hotel which is in walking distance from the main gate of the Universal theme park and they have a daily shuttle bus for Disney World which leaves at 7.15 am and returns at 10.05 pm from the park to the hotel, allowing you to make most of your days at Disney, as we did. There is also a swimming pool at the hotel where people swam until late, even at 11 pm when we came back from Disney. Our hotel room was tidy and calm at night. We wouldn't have been better at any Disney hotel
A very nice place to stay. Manny, the proprietor takes a real personal interest in every guest and helps as much as he can, offering lifts to different places, helping out with meals and giving good advice. The atmosphere is somewhat family like with guests from many different countries. I somewhat regret we did not stay longer. There is also a supermarket near by, but the only regret might be that it is difficult to get around in Orlando with public transports if you do not have your own car.
The location is excellent, just outside the central train station and the stuff was very friendly, helpful and good-humoured. We stayed only one night, but we didn't find anything to criticize. We had been to the Wombats hostel in Berlin before, and the way it works (new bed sheets in plastic, personal locker in the room that work with the electronic room key, etc.) was the same.
Perfect location just in front of the central train station with a direct line to the airport. Don't forget to write you name on the list for the free pasta as soon as you arrive and enjoy the breakfast which is served from 7 am onwards - unless you have to catch an early flight, as we had to, and go without it. The surrounding night and day life near the central station (including gambling and prostitution) may not be so attractive but it is the perfect place to stay for one night on your way.
Excellent reception. They really know how to make you feel at home and have been very helpful, day and night.
It is a decent place to stay and not far away from anywhere in the city. The Underground station of Rosa Luxemburg Platz is just next doors and you can even walk to Alexander Platz. There is a nice view of the surroundings from the roof top bar or the hostel until 10 pm when it closes the door to go out to protect the neighbors from the noise. The room was proper and clean with its own bathroom. You get fresh linen when you arrive at the reception and need a key for each floor and room.
We felt quite at home and loved the dogies on the bed sheets. We got good advice as what to go to visit and when. The place looked very cozy and being a small structure, it was easy to get to know everyone who stayed there. I remember that we passed a lovely evening paying a game with the flags of the world where the landlady proved to be an expert, but I guess she has had occasions of playing at this game before. The only difficulty we have noted was the absence of a second shower at rush hours

An excellent place to stay especially if you are traveling with your own car. There are nice wood bungalows with two beds each. It's a quiet place and we slept very well all night, but there is also a free disco, a paying swimming pool and a grocery shop of the camping. We were afraid of mosquitos bites, but it wasn't actually that bad. There is a private bus to rejoin the public transportation system (underground trains) for 1 Euro each ride until 9 pm.
Excellent value for money in a clean and calm place. We found all the quietness and calm you could wish for after a long and tiring day of visiting. They offer an opportunity to get an excellent breakfast at the hotel next doors for a fair price. If you are interested, they ask you to book it the day before, that is to say, before they go away at 11 p m
Excellent situation because you can get everywhere by foot. There was a small kitchen at our disposal which was quite nice and helpful. WiFi worked well in the reception area, but less so in our room. The heating system worked even too well during our second night before breaking down, but a couple of added blankets helped us to sleep well, although we were woken regularly between 2 a m and 4 a m, be it by the noise of drunken youngsters in the street, an fire alarm or some drunken guests.
A good and relatively quiet place still in walking distance from the central station (but not as near as some other accommodations)
Reading all the positive comments, it is difficult to add anything that hasn't yet be said and one arrives with very high expectations... but I haven't regretted my choice. If you travel by plane, I would recommend to buy your bus ticket from the airport to Stockholm and back - once you know at which airport you arrive - online at www.flygbussarna.se. It's cheaper and you won't have to queue up to get a ticket at the airport but you'll be able to board the bus at once and choose a nice seat.

We have been impressed by all the efforts the landlord, Stefano, undertook to make our stay agreeable: he came to fetch us at the airport, accompanied us to the old town center (Castello) and proposed to fetch us whenever we wanted (and with no extra charge) at the bus stop or the beach. We have had a lovely room with access to a big balcony having a marvelous view over the whole beach and city center. Breakfast was a real treat with home made marmalade outside on the terrace. I recommande it
An excellent place to stay, well located, friendly and helpful staff, big bathrooms with shower. There is also a kitchen facility and the hostel is situated on the first floor of an ancient building quite in the center of the popular part of Pest (Budapest having two halves on either side of the river: Buda and Pest) as opposed to the "tourist sector" near the river where the prices tend to double. But you get there easily as well walking just for 5-10 minutes.
Even if the showers are rather (too) small and the kitchen and common room not quite big enough for the number of beds available (and guests), it rests an excellent value for the little money it costs. We had an electric heater in our dorm and when you remembered to turn it on early enough in the evening, we slept very well all night without having cold. I have had no regret about my choice to spend here a week.
Decent rooms in a hotel like style. A good place to spend a night.
A small and well animated place to stay in which is at walking distance from the city center. You can meet many people and get as much fun as you want to. The stuff is very helpful and anxious to make you feel happy!
A friendly and nice place to stay. I won't hesitate to come back another time.
A decent place to stay, quite near the different museums. The general look recalls a hotel rather than a hostel. Good choice at the breakfast counter.
Rooms get smelly but I managed by just opening the windows and it isn't actually that cold outside! The temperature of the showers is often somewhat tricky. It may change from one moment to another as someone opens or closes a watertap somewhere else in the building, but I found that if I took my shower at an "unpopular time" like 8 pm or 6 am, there wasn't any problem. Perhaps, if all the people at the hostel didn't get discouraged to use the showers, the rooms wouldn't smell bad.
Just a few foot steps from the Munich main railway station from where all the underground lines part to go everywhere. Small but quite nice and sufficient rooms for one person at a decent price. I won't hesitate to come back, especially if passing by or having to spend a night waiting for a train in the morning to continue my voyage.
A nice and very new looking place. It wasn't actually built to be a hostel but they are still fixing the transformations. Stuff was very helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to go there again.
Nice looking place and very helpfull and friendly staff. There is a number code to secure the entry to the dormatories and the place is easy to get to using the underground lines. Mind, there is a supplement for the bed sheets and breakfast is not included in the price.
Well situated if you travel by underground. You can go from here everywhere quite quickly. Rooms are in a flat on the ground floor of an ordinary apartment house. There is no staff waiting at the reception and be careful to be precise as to the hour of your arrival, or you might wait in front of the door until someone comes by. Otherwise an decent and quiet place to spend your night.
Very well situated in Hamburg's night life area, near the famous "Fischmarkt" on Sunday morning yet quiet for a good night's rest. Nice looking breakfast room with ship decoration.
It is a good idea to take a print out of the map with you in order to find the place. It is big and often with lots of people - in no way cosy and personal, but near the city center.
There is a nice breakfast buffet and an agreable atmosphere in the morning. It is situated at a big street with quite some traffic and few shops around, but its still in the center of Munich and the underground stations are not so far away.
A decent place to come back to, well situated near central station and offering free Internet access and a good breakfast
A quiet place with a freshly renovated interior. I wonder why they still annonce a sauna as it isn\'t any more in use. The neighbourhood looked still a bit hostile to me, like what you might have seen in old films about communist countries.
Quite a convivial place to stay. You can get everywhere by foot, even if it may take same 15 our 20 minutes.
Well situated hotel near central station with free Internet access and a decent breakfast, all included
Excellent location at a few steps from the main train station, decent breakfast buffet, free Internet. No complaints.
A decent place to stay. Noise stops after 10 pm. Remember to bring your padlock along if you want to lock up your belongings. The locks sold by the vending machine are expensive and seem to work all with the same key...
Very well situated. Use underground station Barberini if you don't want to walk from the train station Roma Termini. There is a room with a private bath room, but the shower doesn't actually work. You might therefore take just as well the option with a shared bathroom, as you are going to take your shower there anyway.
Situated near the back of the central train station, it is very easy to reach when you arrive by plane and take a train from the airport (trains about every 10 minutes, ride less than 15 minutes, third stop, fare 30 DKK). There are nearly at all times streetwalkers in front of the hotel, but they don't incommodate customers of the hotel - at least as long as you don't look at them. There are several night bars around, but the hotel is calm.
