Not happy with this place. The Map/directions inaccurate. Had to call the staff, who was bordering on rude. Other hostels come out to find you when lost. Breakfast is a packet of cereal. No milk. No tea or coffee. The place is shabby, including deluxe rooms. Was the bed linen fresh? Who knows -- the bed looked unmade. Soundproofing? none--you can hear what's going on in the WC from the dorms. The staff gets zero for attitude and speculating about my ... life aloud in Korean. None of ur business

I've stayed there three times now. It's an extra 5 minutes walk out of itaewon but worth it.

Like living in an IKEA showroom. And since I love IKEA stuff, that's a 110% thumbs up.

My band Drop Dead Valentine stayed here for our HBC festival gig. We're a Dieselpunk band, and were wowed by G Guesthouse's Science Fiction feel - it was like spending time aboard Red Dwarf. At this stage everything is new and fresh - they've been open just 2 weeks -- and hosts Shrek and Fiona are wonderful. They made kimbab for breakfast in addition to the usual cereal and toast, and the coffee is fresh ground. A roof garden, and central to Itaewon! Eleven out of ten! My, My Mama!

Okay, so I gave a V POOR for staff: here's why -- the full time staff are great, but the transient staff need training to be customer-facing. One guy took it upon himself to lock the kitchen at 10, and commanded me to leave...I was making a cup of tea, and getting my stuff out for a 05.30 dart next day (when the kitchen was still locked). I had not been drinking and wasn't rude or obstructive. When I'm paying good money for accommodation, I resent being shouted at in this manner.

I had a marvellous two nights here, and this hostel has a lot of character as a building

THe problem with this Hostel is that Manly is a thirty minute 5 Dollar subway ride from downtown Brisbane and the time and cost offset the economy of the rooms. Manly is a yachting marina, with one short main street. But you can go crewing for free on Sundays. If you're wanting to stay in Brisbane and see the city, the location of this hostel is something to take into account. Apart from that, not bad at all.

My second stay at this hostel In common with all hostels, separate showers and toilets would be good.but apart from that, a great place to stay, near to hongik station and central for both Hongdae and Sincheon nightlife---and Loving Hut

one negative: beds that creak in the eight bed dorm, but otherwise a very pleasant hostel, with wonderful staff. Directions to find it the first time could be clearer: you are directed to turn left when you see In The Style, but at night, In The Style is a poorly lit nondescript wooden wall. even by daylight the sign "In The Style' is unobtrusive. Simply telling you to take the third left opposite a Lawson and a large, lit '24' sign might be more helpful.
Thank you for your stay here. And thank you for a meaningful description.
