We ended up staying at Hong Thien 1 as it has an elevator., so these comments are based on that hotel. This hotel listed is actually Hong Thien 2 which is around the corner. However, as they are part of a group I imagine the same high standards would apply. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms were spotless. Breakfast was substantial and had a good range to choose from. The hotel is located within walking distance of the river and a variety of restaurants.
This hotel is clean, walking distance to all attractions and plenty of restaurants. Breakfast is good includes omelets, bacon and pancakes, lots of fresh fruit milk and fruit juice. David is the standout among a good staff.
This hostel is close to the lake and restaurants, but a fair way from the train station. The rooms with windows have spectacular views. The staff were so helpful with some difficulties we had, they went way beyond what could be expected.

The staff were knowledgeable and helpful, there was useful information on all the walls, the kitchen was well equipped and the lounge area encouraged people to chat.
The rooms are recently renovated and very nice, however in the 3 days we were there the room was not cleaned once. Security could be an issue, the hostel, is in a building with other hotels, the elevator reaches all of them so people can enter from the other hotels. The stairs and common area are very rundown but maybe are part of the renovation plans, keeping baby chicks in a box in the lobby made for an odd smell..The staff are all pleasant and helpful.. Great location.
Second wind was a lovely hostel. Great breakfast, slightly different each day. A few minutes walk to the beach where they have a deal for free lounge beds and discount drinks with a beachfront restaurant. Excellent wifi. Staff very helpful and friendly.
This was everything a good hostel should be. Great atmosphere, knowledgeable staff and lots of communal areas.
Sivalai Place is located in a quiet suburb, that is pleasnat to stroll around and there are plenty of street food options nearby. Though not close to tourist attractions they are easily reached by public transport.. They provide a wealth of information on what to see and do in both Bangkok and Thailand. The smiling staff are always ready to help with any queries. The excellent pool and gym are a bonus. The rooms are large, clean and well maintained.
This is a great place to stay when catching a plane from Hewanorra airport. They will arrange pick-up and drop-off. It is near the banks, supermarket and bus station. The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Daisy and Clinton. The rooms are clean and spacious with varying levels of kitchen facilities. Wifi worked well.
This is a well located hostel and Karen was a delightful and helpful host. However there were constant problems with the wifi connection.
This pousada was a litle oasis in the middle of Belem. There is an attractive front and rear garden, with plenty of cover when it rains. The rooms are clean, modern and spacious. Breakfast was a real treat in particular Nice's tapioca pancakes. The staff were all pleasnat and helpful and very patient with my limited Portugese. It is conveniently located to the main plaza and a large shopping centre.
This is a top notch little hostel located close to the bus station in Foz. The staff were amazing, the most helpful and knowledgeable in 6 months in South America. They even put out breakfast an hour early so we had something to eat before our early flight..
Well located hostel with lovely back garden. The staff were friendly and helpful. If you want anything other than the standard bread, coffee and cordial go elsewhere for breakfast
Are stay at Nazca Trails was fantastic. Juan was a great host and his guides were knowledgable and spoke excelelnt English. The breakfast was one of the best we have had in South America and our laundry was cleaner than it has been for 18 months. Only quibble would be that a fan in the room would be nice on hot nights. He also arranged for our transfer to Paracas and lima, which went so smoothly.
Milhouse is a beautifully converted old mansion, close to the centre of town. the dorm beds are great with privacy screens, your own ligth and storage shelf. The breakfast is plentiful. The free Saturday walking tour with Luis was very good. The staff of the hostel were friendly and helpful. However the staff at the tour desk were unhelpful and mostly disinterested in doing anything other than sell the standard packages. Both tours we booked went wrong on several levels.
A lovely hostel with very helpful staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We booked a deluxe double bed with private ensuite. We received a fairly ordinary 4 bed dorm with a bathroom outside the room. The room and bathroom were very clean. The owners and staff very pleasant and helpful.
Easter Island is expensive and Vaianny represented good value for money for this destination. Located just off the main street so well situated for any activity in town. The breakfast was slightly changed each day and always included fruit, cereal and cheese. The host was extremely helpful and we appreciated the orientaion drive around town after pick-up at the airport. He waited for us even though it took 2 hours to get through customs. The recommended guide Cecilia offered wonderful tours.
Our group was one older couple and one couple with teenage children. We all had a wonderful time here. The pool was lovely, the nearby restaurants had great ffod at a reasonable price. And the welcome and advice offered by poopy nd her husband was the icing on the cake.
For a long time some people thought this was hard to find. This has been addrerssed in two ways. our confirmation email includes maps and directions in English and Thai. The place is a little off the beaten track but is only minutes from transport. The local food is spectacular. All this and it has a beautiful 25 meter pool Tennis courts and a gymnasium.

this is our second stay, standards are still high we will go back. Quiet and relaxing.
This is lovely hostel well located in downtown Cairo. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and quiet. There is a lovely little cafe downstairs and the man running the drink stall is very nice. The local tours are excellent, Moussa our driver provided us with a great introduction to Cairo.
The location was great directly opposite the reef. The rooms were really nice. However there was only one staff member with English and he was so busy that he didn't have time to provide any information. Meals were of varying quality and quite often several requests had to be made. Breakfast was excellent.

We had a wonderful time here. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
This is one of the best hostels we have stayed in. The hostel was immaculatley clean, with friendly helpful staff. It is located just off the main street, but is so quiet and restful. The tours with Koko and Budy were great. The managers, Magda and Viki were good sources of information. Excellent value for money.
The hotel was well located, just opposite Puduraya bus station. The staff were very friendly and helpful
