A great, very spacious hostel - with a nice patio, lots of bathrooms and even a pool game room! We met great people from all over the world. If you need to get up early you must be aware of partybackpackers, who will come back late at night around 4, bellowing and playing pool - but we managed to calm them down ;) It was a really good stay and we recommend it.
We had a good time there, met nice people and enjoyed our stay!
We had a great time - although we couldn't get the room we originally had booked. So in the end we were in a 4-bed-dorm instead of a double-room, but we payed less and it was really ok, so i don't care. The staff was nice and relaxed, the hammocks in the garden are great, the hostel is located halfway to the supermarket and the beach. We really enjoyed our time.
One of the best hostels we stayed in during our Chile-Trip. Very clean, extremely nice and helpful staff, great patio with a hammock. We also booked our tours at the hostel. We decided to stay a third night, but unfortunately there was no room available, so we went to another hostel for that night. The staff from Mamatierra offered us to come back the next afternoon, take a shower and grab as much coffee as we want - and wait for our shuttle to the airport, which they booked for us.
Great Hostel, feels more like a Hotel. Very kind and helpfull staff, located near to the metrostation, a safe and generous place to stay. The wooden floor creaks a lot, but that kind of fits to the whole atmopshere - we would definitely come back!
A great hostel located in the center of Barri Gotic - a bit noisy at night, but we were so tired from visiting the city that this was no problem. Very helpfull and friendly staff, a nice room with a balcony, the bathroom was unfortunately overflooded sometimes - but this may depend on the other guests (who - sadly to say- weren't that cleanly at all...) A nice kitchen with a frigde where you have your own depot. There is a hairdryer and towels for common use - very helpful.
As i am used to simple hostels and low-budget-hotels this was a comfortable stay. If you are looking for a cheap, well-located hotel just for sleeping this is the right place.. It takes just 5 minutes to the beach, and about 10 to 15 minutes by vaporetto to Piazza S. Marco. Breakfast can be booked for 5€, you get bread, croissants, cornflakes, and coffee as much as you want.... Negative: a hot room, and for to open the windows it was too loud outside (streetside), but we had a ventilator.
