A nice guesthouse with some books about the history of Yugoslavia. A big terrace and an amazing view over the bay in the west of Dubrovnik. Sometimes I had to take a shower after the 150 stairs climbing but it was worth the view. Parking a car is a bit complicated, but we managed thanks to the decent help of the family. Be aware of the fact the street has a bottleneck for cars just east of the guesthouse. But the free parking is something to safe money with. Big supermarket nearby @ harbour.
When coming by Serbian car it feels safe to lock the car in the garden. It's a bit uphill but the view at the lightening up mosc towers is amazing when the evening prayer starts just before the rest of the city lights up. The place serves excellent breakfast and a typical Zagreblike meandering stairs into the city center. Don't drive by car to the bobsleigh coming from the north, cause the track is too bad to take by normal car. Approach it from the south and be amazed. Also Lukomir is a mustsee
This hostel is the nicest in terms of architecture and composition I have ever seen. Amazingly nice patio between bathrooms and bedrooms. Bookshare and lots of guides you can use. What I almost forgot is the amazing view at the KLTower when walking on the bridge on the 1st floor to the bathrooms. I can recommend this hostel to anyone. This hostel is good for its breakfast: they have a toaster, offer free bread and an alltimehotwaterdevice. Only disadvantage is they don't provide in giving towels
The most luxurous room I ever had in a hostel. Going here during the week can result in having a panorama room along the outer rivercoast. THIS MEANS you see the boats coming from BOTH DIRECTIONS. A better room is simply NOT POSSIBLE. It's in the heart of cosy Chinatown and everything is on walkingdistance. As breakfast you can have free coffee or tea and from out of the kitchen you can have a look at the river and even take a seat on the quay. AMAZING location, less busy but AMAZING.
Very spacious and clean. cheap as well and a direct tram to the citycentre. Parking in front of the hostel is for free and there is a supermarket right behind it.
A big surprise was the fight between 2 ba stards just 50 meters of the hostel. One came back when the cafe was closed to smash the huge flatscreen to the ground. After it he also jumped on it. It must have been a re venche. This sort of things make me never come back to Turkey!
Cheap and easy but no cooking possible, staff rather uninterested and bathrooms way to small; in one one has to climb over the toilet to reach the showercabine.
Cheap and good, but telling me that I booked 5 nights when I booked 6 nights already 6 months before arriving is rather idiot. And also rising the prices during that 6 months and charging you the higher prices while you booked for the old prices is not very kind.
