This hostel is well located, clean and with great areas but staff is not really friendly, especially the guy!! And you have one voucher for the WiFi so that you have to pay 10dollars when this voucher is over...really bad thing for an hostel in NZ. This system depends on the room type, but sure it is for the 10 and 12 beds shared rooms!!! Moreover, the key deposit is 50 dollars, and there are no locker in the room, you have to pay 4dollar/day if you need a secure locker at the reception.
The Staff is friendly, the location is good to visit Valparaiso. The negative point is the matresses which are not comfy and some beds are a little broken.

Selknam Hostel is a nice place to stay in Santiago. This is a small place with character, friendly staff and all the facilities you need. Location is great, close to the metro line, the Airport shuttle terminal and mains attractions in the downtown. Barhrooms seems dirty but are not at all, they only need to be renovated. All the hostel is very clean. I would recommend this place in Santiago, dormitories are large and not crowded with lots of beds and people.
Residencial Uno is a great place to stay in Iguazu. We spend there 2 nights, the dormitory was cleaned every day, with 2 bathrooms inside the room (6 people on the room). Staff is very nice and helpful, swimming pool and patio are nice as well.
We have booked 2 nights at Hostal Marsella and we finally stayed 3 nights more. The owner is very friendly, he gave us a lot of advices about visiting Quito. The hostel is very well situated, just between the Old and new town, near a great park and all facilities. The breakfast is also nice, for a great price too.
