Not a bad place. Kind of like a motel that has been converted. L-shape building with room to park cars. Hammocks out the front of every room. Tour desk at the front if you want to book anything. Not really a hostel vibe because of the layout but convenient location.
Nice motel style accommodation a 10 minute walk from the beach and close to some bars and restaurants. Helpful staff. It's not really a hostel (no common room / bar), but a neat, clean place to stay.
Cute little apartment up the hill from Santa Apolonia station and near to the Cathedral. We arrived very late (11pm) but they kindly were available to let us in to the apartment, which was above and beyond what I expected. NOTE!! the entire area is on the side of a quite steep hill and every single street is cobblestones. If you have a rolling suitcase, and particularly if it's heavy, it is very difficult to drag your bags up the hill. Consider getting a taxi -park at St Estaban church.
Funky little hostel on the top level of a block in good location in Kowloon. The common room with balcony overlooking the city was cool. Extremely small room, but we only stayed one night. We enjoyed it.
Nice hostel. Clean, efficient. Funky little bar next door that from what I can tell is run by the same people. Small rooms, but that is not uncommon for Japan. Easy to get to and good directions.
Nice place in the Asakusa / Ueno area. Convenient to metro station. Really nice staff and helpful info posted all about the place. In some ways it's more hotel than hostel, but that's cool. Washer and dryer on site (coin operated). They also let you leave your stuff there at 500 yen/day or free if you have a reservation when you return.
Great place, arrived for 3 nights, stayed for 7! If you have suitcases, don't go into the middle of the old city, follow the city walls around so that you avoid all the steps. Fantastic place and would stay again.
If you have suitcases do not go into the middle of the old town. You will have to pull them up a few hundred steps. Instead, you need to follow the city wall so come in the side gate to the city (between PILE and PLOCE gates). Apartment is next to the 'peeing lady' restaurant. Loved our time here. Lovely place to stay for a couple or single traveller. It's only small so probably not the place for those wanting to party (maybe Dubrovnik is not the place to stay if that's the case).
Great place, great staff. At top of steps (but great view from up there) Follow the wall around the city rather than going in the main street and then having to go up all the stairs. We loved it here and will be back!
Lovely place to stay, very close to the train/bus station. It's barely 5 minutes walk to the old town. Some nice restaurants nearby. We stayed in the private rooms and they are great. A nice touch was the TV/computer to watch videos and free wifi. But the best thing was the staff - incredibly helpful and welcoming to us! As friendly as I have ever seen. Would definitely stay again.
Lovely friendly staff. Cool hostel. Location in Asakusa... A bit tricky location in that it's very close to the private rail line but a bit of a walk to JR / Tokyo Metro. But you can just change at Akihabara and get the private line (~300 yen) and then you're right there. But if you have a JR pass you have to walk quite a way to use it. Anyway, second time I have stayed and i'll be back i'm sure.

Really lovely staff. Nice, clean place to stay. More hotel than hostel. NOTE: The directions to the hotel could be clarified. Use the WEST bus stop at Shibuya. When you get off the bus (second stop), walk up the hill maybe 20m and turn left at the car yard. Walk maybe 100m and the hotel is on the right hand side, on a narrow triangle shaped block.

Very small rooms, but this is to be expected in the UK. Location is good, quite close to Bayswater tube. Breakfast costs extra and they can be a bit gestapo about closing time on the dot of 10am. Free wifi. Price was not cheap, and not really for backpackers but if you want somewhere convenient, clean and modern, it ticks the boxes.
Convenient location only maybe 100m from central train station. Nice room, lovely clean sheets and soft bed! Only negative is toilets are not in the rooms, they are outside in the passageway. Would stay again.
It's a nice place, great location. Really lovely staff, very hepful. This is the place to go if you and your partner want to go and relax while staying in Notting Hill area. It's not a hostel so don't expect a party. But do expect a nice room, great breakfast and somewhere calm to hang out in London.
Fantastic place to stay! Brand new facilities and friendly staff. I will stay there again, loved it :)
Cool place, really enjoyed our brief stay there. Funky little place.
Nice place, higher standard than a hostel if you are sick of slumming it. Note that the name on the buzzer doesn't say camere belvedere vaticano, its something else in Italian (can't rememeber now). Very helpful staff. Come out of the metro station, turn right and go past the roundabout/fountain. It's on the left side of the road (just past the fountain), very close to the corner.
Bedda is a fantastic host and will make you feel very welcome! She even helped me with some little problems I had and I really appreciated it. I would love to stay there again! Funky place where everyone feels welcome straight away. Quite a small place but that's what I like. Handy location and you can get dropped off there from the bus from the airport. I think everyone in Iceland knows everyone else :) so the bus driver will know where to drop you off.
Nice place, close to the wharf in Nassau. Some staff very helpful and kind, others not so helpful (like anywhere I guess).
Kind of felt more like a hotel than a hostel. Would recommend for couples wanting a bit of privacy or the older traveller. Unlike so many, it's not in Asakusa, which makes it more convenient for the JR line.
Convenient spot, very much a B&B not a hostel, but that's what you want in Verona... Bit of a weird smell from the toilet at times, but all in all I was quite satisfied.
Unbelievable performance by the guys here, I have been to 54 countries and the guys made me feel like a super star! Great new hostel, convenient location, clean, AWESOME breakfast, can't fault it at all!
Nice place. A smallish hostel, but good vibe. This is the place to go to chill out for a few days and take it easy.
Great hostel, really enjoyed my stay there... Lovely staff, and the location is cool, built onto the side of an old church! Only problem, and might not have been from this hostel, but I seem to have been bitten by bed bugs :( Would not stop me from staying again though - I loved it.
Good place, very convenient to the subway/metro. Free walking tours are great and recommended. Too many people zoning out with the wifi, but that's life I guess!
Convenient place if you get to Krabi too late for the ferry to Phi Phi. Nice place, close to the Ao Nang ferry terminal.
Good hostel, like all the Khaosan ones. Clean, good directions on how to get there, and near to Asakusa (which is good for the Temples, not so good for a wild night out in Shinjuko or Roppongi). Make sure you go to their little bar nearby, it's fun and great way to meet new people.
Nice place, similar to the other Khaosan hostels. Really can't fault it, and the staff were ace.
10/10, really nice hostel, great staff who are very helpful. Can't fault it! Make sure you take up the opportunity for the free drink at the Khaosan bar about 10 minutes away, it's a really fun place. I'll be back.
Great place, just make sure you press the '1Z' botton on the intercom to get in. Very helpful staff! They say it's moving to the old town in September, so make sure you have the new address if you are booking for then.
Great location. NOTE: Go to the address on their web page, but you MUST press the button '1Z'. In Spain 'left' is Izquierda and 'right' is Derecho, that's why there are buttons with I and D on them. Extremely helpful staff and I will stay there again. Very close to Guggenheim.
Great place in a great location!! This is the place to go if you are travelling with a partner. There are no dorms, only privates. Excellent location (right next to ESB), and very clean and well furnished. Great staff, very helpful. I will stay there again!!!
Great place! This is the place to go if you are a couple or older than early 20's drunkards. That's not to say you wont have fun. It's cool. But it's clean and well run. Great place to chill. Recommended!
Second time I have stayed here. It's great. Note, it IS a party hostel. Great atmosphere and helpful staff. Free wifi. Safe location.
Great place. It's right off the wharf. Turn left the instant you walk onto dry land! Great spot, maybe 10 mins pleasant walk from Hat Rin beach, which means you are right there, but wont be kept up all night. Will stay again!
One of my favourite hostels, and I always stay there when passing through Osaka. Absolutely lovely and adorable staff who always make me feel welcome. I'll be back again for sure!
Had a great time! It is a verry friendly and very fun hostel. Can't rate highly enough. Compares with YoHo hostel in Salzburg and Boathouse in Prague as best i've stayed in. It *is* a party hostel so usually a bit of noise at night, but everyone is always welcome and the staff were lovely, especially Natalia. I'll be back for sure! Highest rating.
I love staying there! Will always be back every time I pass through :)
It's a great hostel - have stayed there three times so far and will stay again!
REally loved this place. It's BRAND NEW so completely spotless. It's not a partuy place (yet) due to being so new, but that's ok and not really what I was after (that's not to say that you couldn't party there). Word of warning. If you are coming from Narita, make sure you print out the map. Much easier than giing by the directions. Just get to Asakusa View hotel and take the right at the little car park with the green sign. Can't miss it.
Only stayed there briefly, but it was pretty much what I expected. Clean, good security, capsule bunks and tiny showers (free hot water though). I'd stay there again.
I really enjoyed it here... Lovely staff and very helpful. Couldnt ask for more. A few things to note: The map does not show EVERY road... Just follow the map to the photo (cant miss it). Turn down that street. Also, walls are paper thin so you will wake everyone up if you stagger home drunk. Thats not to say it is a party place because its not. There are a fair amount of Japanese people who stay so be considerate of others. I really enjoyed it there.

Lovely staff. Not a great location if you have to walk, but right in front of a bus stop from town. I know it's a bit unfair, but it can feel like a school camp with the 'do not do this' signs everywhere, the spring loaded taps so you don't have long showers, the same sex dorms, the lock out times... I really wonder what that actually achieves except makes people feel like they are 12 years old again and on school camp (but all YHA hostels are like this).
THE MAP ON THE WEB SITE IS WRONG. Go to Bayswater tube and it's maybe 100m from there, off Inverness Tce or way or something. Well appointed hotel, with miniscule rooms (you could not swing a cat - no way). Great value for London and quite a nice place. It's a proper hotel, not a backpacker in sight though.

Look, it's nothing flash, but has a location that can't be beaten and the staff were always helpful. Breakfast served every morning to your door. If you are used to 5 star, this is not the place. On the other hand it's cheap and less than 100m from Paddington.
Great location! But top marks go to all the staff who were amazing and even leant me a shirt and tie for an interview!!! Thanks guys! And Luiza makes the best Caipirinhas ever!!!
Nice hostel, fairly easy to find (see their directions), and well priced. Not really a party hostel when I was there, but the hammocks were cool to relax in, and the free welcome beer was a nice plus. Free internet.
Nice place. But I was there solo and a bit hard to meet people. The common room is upstairs and a bit unfriendly. Maybe I was hoping for a bar or music or something not 'who are you?' stares. But that's ok, somtimes places just work out like that. Good location, maybe 2 mins from the subway. I'll probably stay there again.
Turn right once you get to the petrol station! Don't do like I did and walk up the stairs on the left where there is a funny Japanese sign. That's some old lady's house! Ooops. The place you want to go is right next door! Nice place. Quiet. Not a party place at all. But authentic and right next to the big temple.
Fantastic! Yashi made my stay so enjoyable, had a great time and will be back!
Lovely place, Yoshi is a genuine champion, goes above and beyond the call to make you feel comfortable and welcome!! Quite a small place, so might be hard to get a room in at times, but A1 location (walk PAST the big white lantern), and friendly atmosphere. I will definitely be back. Recommended!
Lovely hostel, spotlessly clean, very friendly and helpful staff and convenient location (just tell people to follow the colour-paved path or theyll go the wrong way). I really enjoyed it. Not a big party scene, maybe it was just the crowd at the time, but party scene can be annoying sometimes anyway. Five stars! Recommended!
