Alvaro & his wife made you feel welcome & Alvaro loves to cook & we all had a much cheaper local fish dinner much cheaper than the reataurants.WiFi could have been better but may have been due to cloudy conditions at the time.
Stayed here several times great hostel & staff breakfast includes eggs!
Stayed here several times great hostel & staff. It is good to let the Italian chef Laura do the cooking or a change with a choice of reasonably priced dinners. Then time to try the many cocktails in the bar!
Stayed here several times only 5 mins walk to one of my favourite beaches for swimming on the Ilha,Good value & has all facilities for S/C or loads restaurants nearby.
Friendly helpful staff mainly students working long shifts.Free PC use, good breakfast with coffee available all day,my 6 bed dorm was fine with river view large lockers under the bed.Great location about 20yards from most famous street Dluga. No problem drinking local beers bought outside the hostel.
Family run large hostel helpful staff and I really enjoyed swimming in their pool in the evening of a hot 35c day after my return from wonderful Ilhabela.Much cheaper to stay here than Ilhabela though about 20 mins walk to bus stn or 30 mins walk to Balsas where the ferry leaves passing large supermarket ideal for self catering. You can take a bus to Balsas on the main rd if you don¨t fancy the walk.
Stayed here one night as the hostel I normally stay was fully booked.I was not disappointed as there was a great view over Lagoa Do Conceicao from the bar, good breakfast & I enjoyed the Pizza evening meal.As the rooms descend down the hill you will get fit climbing up & down the stairs so you shouldn"t stay here if climbing is a problem for you.Enjoyed the afternoon at popular surfing beach Mole about 10 mins walk down the hill.
I have stayed here several times & always enjoyable with great staff. This time was during Carnival & I enjoyed the Barra Da Lagoa .Bloco on Sun nt.
Great staff, easy to self cater, near the main street in Santos, about 15 mins walk to beach or lots of buses if lazy.
Very enjoyable second stay at the club with great view of Prainha, good food ,great staff & fun trying different cocktails meeting people at night in the bar.
The hotel was not looking its best at the moment as they have been plastering the whole outside of the building prior to painting in blue/white which they tell me will take another month. They also were cleaning all the carpets on the day I arrived which certainly helped to remove any dust from the works.Don"t let this put you off staying there in the meantime as the rooms are modern & clean & good value. The staff were friendly and helpful with advice & enjoyed Polish food in restaurant.
Very helpful staff & great pool near giant Exito supermarket. If you don"t want the hassle of self catering they have a restaurant for breakfast/pasta dinners. There is also a bar with reasonably priced drinks-NB You cannot consume drink bought outside the premises.

Enjoyed my stay. You will get fit staying here as bedrooms are on the top floor with about 7 flights of stairs to climb as no lift.
Had a great time my first visit to Sofia with friendly staff & much cleaner than expected-no wonder it is popular with people turned away as full!Surprised to be given an evening spaghetti dinner & free beer in the price.Love to return.
