Good hotel/hostel. Has a pool and free breakfast which is really good. B/C it's also a hotel the dorm rooms had an older quieter crowd which was good cause I was travelling with my mom. On arrival they charge you tax fee but no other hotel did in Costa Rica so the price online isn't the whole price

Great hostel! Clean and safe. Curtains on all the dorm beds for privacy. TV and couch for lounging and watching movies. Hammocks and tables outside in the yard :)

Good Lil hostel , its a little out of town but towns so small its not far. Kitchen well stocked, common area outside with hammocks and fire pit. Can be loud between guest or the road.

The staff was nice enough, there was a mix up with my booking but they worked it out for me. The kitchen was yucky and all the pots and pans were dirty and I couldn't find any silverware. Whether the sheets had been washed was questionable. But it does have a great view

Nice place, staff is lovely. My room was beside the kitchen so could be loud but there are signs saying don't use kitchen after 11 pm and most ppl respect that. Did the volcano's with the hostel. Was fine, you can't actually see much at the top cause of the smoke so I didn't love it but not the guides fault

Two words "bed bugs" I got eaten alive at night :( close to bus station
Hello! It's the first time that we have this problem because, due to the cold weather in El Chaltén, it becomes a very unusual issue. Anyway, after you told me, we disinfect the whole room to avoid any further problems. I hope you had a nice memory of El Chaltén after all. Regards.

It was a cheap hostel so you get what you pay for. Even though it says there is a kitchen there is not, out of order forever. This part of town loses power a lot in the summer which means no wifi , a/c, electric and lights :S one night in the middle of a shower the water ran out. If I stayed again it'd be cause it was cheap, nothing else

The hostel was good but the lady that runs it is mean and grumpy all the time. There is supposed to be a communal kitchen but she wouldn't let me use it cause she cooked dinners you can buy in there and you weren't allowed in. Also not allowed to use the fridge at all either. Not happy with her getting mad at me a three days for wanting to use the "communal" kitchen
