Good location by the main shopping centre and short walk to most bus links. The staff were pretty unhelpful though even on simple things like finding a place to print something. Its fine for a night, but any longer and somewhere else maybe more useful.

Nice enough staff but only the two bathrooms for the whole hostel. Also no common area to chill out in, just the corridor with some chairs in it. Basically they lost our booking and put us in an apartment that a member of staff lives in. It was a 15 minute walk away from the hostel and was right on the main road with no parking. There was no apology and I have never been spoken to so rudely by someone working in a hostel before. This is the 2nd time I have been there and also the 2nd time I was spoken to in a very hostile manner. We only stayed one night, but it was easy to find and the staff was fantastic and super helpful. The hostel itself is well equipt and has a pretty darn good breakfast too. Very nice to see that you´ve enjoyed your stay in our hostel. We will think out something to make the directions more clear, but when you´re coming from the main train station you just have to cross the main road... If you don´t cross it next to the direction-board on the official crosswalk, you will have to cross it somewhere else, which could be dangerous.

In terms of location this is ok. Im not really sure what you want to be close to though. A decent hike to the train station though. Owner Comment (Hide)
If you want to be as close to the center we are it that is where all the stuff to do and see in our street you will find bars, clubs cafes, shops and so on . Next time as you like to be close to train stations maybe stay at the train station as they have beds there for kiwi backpackers and other fans of train st. Also let us say in our defense 1. We are a hostel not a hotel so one must use and share facilities (sorry about that) 2. We have 2 showers not 1 as you are clamming in your objective feedback 3. Don't know what height and so on you have on toilets in New Zealand. But We have standard normal European Toilets in our hostel the same type you will find in any London hotel so I am assuming that in New Zealand you must have some sort of elevation on your toilets But in Europe we don't sorry about that. 4. Regarding your clam about us having other things on our minds; We are sorry we did not give you our total and undivided attention to you for your 7.5 Euros pr night. But we are right now in high session and we have a lot of guests to take care of hope you understand.

The staff here were just so lovley! In terms of location, it is not really in town, but there is a village type area with bars and restuarants. Heaps of buses and trains nearby aswell. :)

Good location and only a short walk into the main attractions. Staff were pretty helpful. Only one shower and one toilet though.

Quite far out of the centre of town and a bit of a hike through council housing to get there. The place itself though was really nice and clean. Bar on premises is always good too :)

Slightly out of the central area of Berlin, but only a couple of stops on the U2 into town. Good if you have a car due to free parking. Good character and staff, rooms had really noisy floor though so it was hard to get a decent night sleep. Staff super lovely and helpful :)

Nice quiet hostel on the edge of town. Slighty dodgey area though especially at night but a short walk into the old town. Rooms were nice a spacious but there was only one shower for girls that had a door on it..

This was the perfect hostel to just chill out and relax in. Also good for meeting other travellers. A bit tricky to find at first as it is set back from the road, but the general location is fine. Bit of a trek into town though.
