Lovely staff + great location. Lots of restaurant options and a short stroll to the beach or tram. Beds simple metal frames with fairly firm, good quality mattresses. V comfortable. One major downside is the strange toilet / shower arrangement. Had to go all the way downstairs and then out the back door to the bathrooms outside. Seems like a major trek if you have to go for a pee in the middle of the night. Kitchen layout is also weird with ovens in sep room to fridges & plates/pots etc.

Clean hostel in a really great location. about 10 mins walk into the nice part of the old town. Definitely rec this hostel.
We loved this campsite. The v simple wooden cabins are really good value and the staff are lovely. It's pretty easy getting in and out of Venice as the buses are fairly regular (something like 3 or 4 an hour). Number 5 from Piazzale Roma and number 19 from the campsite...The standard of cleanliness was good but it would be great if they could put some soap in the toilets to encourage campers to wash their hands after using the loo... Excellent experience overall!
lovely, clean modern hostel. Normal problems of noise in the dorms. A bit annoying that they charge for internet and just to store your luggage when you are paying quite a lot for a hostel bed. Doors are v noisy when people come in at night and beds a bit squeaky. Great areas to sit around in on each floor and nice to get toast and coffee in the morning. Overall, pretty good!
Great place to stay, right in the heart of old town Split. Friendly atmosphere and clean.
Once you find this place, it's v central. It's clean and staff are friendly. The only little problem is the v small bathroom. Good place to stay!
The Groove is a small, friendly hostel in a beautiful old building. The double room is huge, with a high ceiling & a bay window overlooking the street. V noisy at night as it's a main road. From reading the description, we expected the shared balcony to be a bit bigger but it's really only big enough for 2 chairs. This hostel is fairly basic & a wee bit shabby, but is quite clean & has a nice atmosphere. Apart from the street noise at night, the location is great.
We loved this place! The boat is wonderfully shiny and there are fantastic views out over the water and Venice on both sides. The hostess is also wonderful. V welcoming and helpful. This place exceeded our expectations and we would definitely recommend it!
Lovely hosts and a great breakfast! We didn't like the shower much (v difficult to get the temp right) and thought the place needs a wee bit of smartening up (pins holding the curtains together etc) I think the new owners have only been there for a short time so I guess they'll take care of things over time. They are v friendly hosts which is a great start!
The Globetrotter Inn is a great place! Everyone seems really relaxed there and the staff are very helpful. The beds are comfortable and I slept really well. Having curtains around your bed means you can have a bit of privacy when you want it. It was also nice to get a simple breakfast included and to have good kitchen facilities available. I would definitely recommend this hostel.
