Cozy Homes - Prague Old Town

We had a really nice stay for a long weekend. Turns out we weren't staying right in old town beside the square. They took us to an apartment building evidently 15 mins by foot from the square, which was a bit of a drag because we chose the place for it's 99% location beside the square. At the end, the apartment was amazing. Brand new, a full kitchen, bathroom with washer, living room bed room, and dining area. Really incredible! In all, it was a nice stay, so thank you :)

was a nice stay. Bathrooms could be cleaned for regularly, three per gender on our floor with probably 40 people or more for each side... So was hard to get in sometimes. Otherwise, stay was super, stay was great. Thank you.

This was a really great place to stay at! Giovanni is so welcoming, and an excellent host. Him and his dog are really great to have around :) We would highly recommend El Paso to everyone. If youre looking for a homey, cozy, and welcoming place, definitely come here. We missed our train and called Giovanni from the station to ask if we could stay and extra night, and he welcomed us back. It was really great. Thanks again Giovanni!! All the best! X

This was such a great hostel to stay at! So close to the beach, deals at the restaurant below, mats and umbrellas to use, a balcony, mini fridge, and just so much more. The couple running the hostel is incredibly nice, we had such a wonderful stay and I would recommend this place to everyone!!

Pil Pil Hostel

This is a very new hostel. Outside is closed by 8pm, quiet in the hostel by 10 or so.. The rooms have small lockers, and they are located very close to the street so there is a lot of noise, and you cant really open the window/door thing, so the rooms were SO hot. The staff were not very knowledgeable in their jobs, or the area. There was a lot going on, like a festival, bull fights, and a soccer game and they mentioned nothing to us. Weak weak kitchen... no stoves, and only a mini mini fridge!

Jacobs Inn

Dublin, Ireland

this place is TOO secure. Theres about 5 doors you need your card for in order to get to your room. There arent any lights in the dorm beds so its really dark when you come in at night. Theres a really good kitchen, laundry facilities, and a rec room. The location is good, walking distance to just about everything.

Hotel Paris Nord

The staff doesnt speak much english. We asked how much internet was and he said 2euro and then we asked for how long, and he said FANTA?! Enough said there. They arent very welcoming. Its close to gare de nord. its old. and the bathrooms smelt like sewage. but the rooms are comforting.

Hostal La Bañezana

Staff doesnt speak any english at all. They moved us to another building a block away, we dont know why becuase we didnt understand them. Very close to nightlife, restuarants, shopping, and other attractions. an apartment building, no reception, no AC but they gave us a fan.

Hostel Meyerbeer Beach

Nice, France

This place had a great location right down the street from the beach. The rooms are really small, and they made us change rooms every single night we stayed there... being 3 times. Frida was really cool and nice, and she knew everything about the city and where to go. Free internet, no breakfast... 40 euro each a night.. umm.. WAY too much for what you get, its only worth like 25 MAYBE.

Owner Comment (Hide)
Hi Just a word on the rate as this rate of 40 euros per person for a double room has been the same for the past 5/6 years and has never gone up since we started with Hostelworld. For a hostel close to the beach and everything in the center, free internet, tea, coffee, biscuits, a great staff diffivlut to do for less. If you want to pay 25E per person then you have to go a dirty and dangerous area. The Meyerbeer Team

wow... well.. umm .. this place was interesting.... i felt like i was in a dirty cheap motel. It was old.. the evelator was super sketchy. Almost no places to eat around unless you want to eat Rabbit. The location was far away from anything, and its in a creepy back alley. Im pretty sure i had the potential of getting bit my bed bugs in this place. Oh and the shower... is a hose with no holder and the water goes EVERYWHERE. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Hotel Kronion

We stayed here for only one night, but it went really well. The owner of the hotel was extremely helpful and really friendly. The rooms were clean. The included breakfast was very good. The location is right across the street from the train station, and down the street like a 3 minute walk to the ancient olympic museum grounds.

Florence Youth Hostel

Florence, Italy

THE PICTURES ARE VERY DECEIVING!!! This place doesnt have a sign! How your supposed to find it... beyond me. Theres no common area to sit, no kitchen, just rooms. The rooms were old..... unlike the photos we saw here on hostelworld. The shower leaked like no tomorrow... and they were mad when we asked for an extra towel to clean up the mess. Umm... i dont know about this place.... Stay at Plus Florence... that place was crazy nice.

Venice Rooms

This place was pretty good, it has its own kitchen and a REALLY cheap grocery store across the street. The cleaning lady, i think she owns the place, doesnt speak any english, and she ¨accidently´ takes things from ytour room while cleaning it. She also steals food when its left sitting out!

This place was pretty good, kind of far from the train station. The bar was super boring, things like the pool table and tvs were broken, a little bit of maintence is in order. Rooms are good, clean, and bathrooms are big and good. The lockers were kind of crappy. you need to rent a lock and cant use your own. The staff was very helpful. In all it was a fairly good place to stay.
