Great hostel, rooms and common areas were very clean. Gave an Average mark for atmosphere due to the fact that a horror movie (Wolf creek) was being played in the lounge room one night at a relatively early hour which led to people feeling very uncomfortable in being in the room and with no place else to sit meant we had to sit in our dorm.

Staff were great, really helpful with advice in booking a tour. Only let down were the showers, there is no space to hang or put anything in the shower cubicle so clothing needs to be left outside the shower. Also the shower doors are partially see through which made showering at busy times rather awkward.
Really clean hostel. Only let down was the mattress which was a bit springy and stuck up in places. Not a place for budget travelers but a great place if you've got a bit extra cash.
Staff seemed like they would rather be in bed. Kitchen was reasonable equipped for cooking but had a very old tired feel to it. Bathrooms looked cleanish but stank of mould. Our room looked clean but everthing is old including the pillows which were waffer thin. My mattress had a large blood stain on it which was pretty gross. Alot of staff or long term stayers seem to be there and they seem to take over the very small lounge.
Nice hostel. We were upgraded from a four person dorm to a two person which was nice. Breakfast lady was a little hostile in making sure you only took your allowed one roll and croissant. It says kitchen is available for cooking but there is no stove just two little hot plates.
Stayed in a double room, very small but manageable, linen was a bit old. Staff were helpful but are older so can't give much advice on nightlife locations.
Expensive for what it was but that's Paris in general. Rooms were clean but linen seemed a bit dated. Staff were relatively friendly but everyone who we had contact with were in the 40+ age group and couldn't really give advice on places to go out and such.
Kitchen could use a bit of a clean up, its cleaned daily but has a bit of grime and such in places. Could also use a little maintenance as several taps seemed to be continously dripping. Otherwise good atmosphere, relatively friendly staff and convenient location. Wouldn't bother with the paid breakfast, better off finding a bakery.
Very friendly staff and atmosphere. We booked two nights here but never actually stayed in the room we had booked (mixed dorm) one night we were upgraded to a private and the other we were moved across the road to their over flow accommodation which was nice but we missed out on the social atmosphere. Free pasta both nights was great, breakfast was ok. The place possibly over charges for what it is though as its very small and lacks the facilities of other hostels.
Overall it was average. Staff were friendly and cooked some ok pasta. Security in rooms was non existing as the door didnt lock to each room and there was a cupboard but only one person would be able to lock their belongings up. Cleanliness could of been better and the kitchen was old with few cooking utensils. While we were here there was a large noisy school group but staff tried to keep them quiet. Smoking seemed to be allowed indoors as long as it was near a window which was unpleasant
Really clean, great atmosphere, shame it doesn't have a kitchen.
One of the best hostels I've stayed in. Everything was really clean and it was the best shower I've had in Europe. I don't like having to pay for hostel breakfasts but in saying that theirs was really good.
We really enjoyed our stay here, staff were friendly, the boat was clean, the location was a short walk from the red light district and the breakfast was great!
Great location, really clean rooms. The only let down were the showers with the area being quite little making it hard to put your belonging in the cubicle and keep them dry, also the shower turns off every 30 seconds and it was hard to adjust the temperature of the water.
The hostel was in a convenient location for catching an international train but thats about the only positive. One major negative was the outside courtyard that joined to the kitchen area was a favourite area for smokers and with the door being kept open it resulted in the kitchen and our dorm (room 1) stinking of smoke. Most of the hostel was booked out by an educational group that were very loud untill late at night and took up most of the common areas.
Right near the train station makes things easy.
The only thing that really let the hostel down was the bathrooms. The shower doors are glass and don't give you enough privacy and it is impossible to get changed within the cubicles.
Staff were really friendly and helpful and the hostel was in a great location.
The location of the hostel was good but the directions that the staff had given us were wrong.
The hostel was fantasic!! The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the bathrooms were also very nice.
