excellent location for exploring toronto. A lot of good restaurants and bars nearby. Seemed to have nice daily activities. Came off as a bit of a party hostel. I stayed in a private room though because I needed some alone time.

a very fun place with lots happening. Neighborhood is nice enough. Close to Swiss Cottage tube station so it's easy to get around. Meals for 5 pounds were really excellent and cheap. Staff were friendly enough. Only real drawback was the showers were a bit tight and not enough room to keep your things dry. Still I would highly recommend the place. I found the best part the wealth of different people passing through.
the place had a nice atmosphere and was welcoming and big. Staff were decent. It is a bit of a walk from the metro stop but the neighborhood is interesting. The location relative to major attractions is a bit far, but I think it was still worth it to stay here. Me and my sister had a private suite and it was very nice and clean and modern. Security was a little iffy only in regard to luggage storage, but otherwise felt fairly safe with key card access after hours. overall would recommend.
very clean, great staff, a little out of the way (just a little), very enjoyable atmosphere, dorm partitioned by sheets in sort of attic space which although was kind of cool made me a little uneasy regarding leaving valuables unattended. amenities like free computer and a bit of toast in the morning were appreciated. overall would recommend.
area was nice. room was large (10 mats) and had private bath and toilet. staff was friendly. small cons: computer had broken sign on it when it seemed to be working fine, gas stove cost 10 yen, place was a little dilapidated. overall, would recommend though.
