I just returned from a three day stay at this hostel. I booked a private room with ensuite (room 214). Room: relatively spacious, comfortable mattress and pillows, mini fridge, remote controlled A/C and ceiling fan. The bathroom had a pretty spacious shower and a toilet. Very clean and the soap/hair gel provided smelled so good! I actually wanted to ask what brand it was but forgot. The only concern I had with this room is that it was facing the little couryard but since smoking and alcohol are not allo

I have stayed in many hostels throughout Europe and North America. In a typical hostel, you have rooms for people to sleep in and a separate common area. That's not the case at the PodShare as it is open concept. Last night, they had karaoke so I had to deal with extremely loud music and drunk people badly singing until well after midnight. Again, you can hear EVERYTHING from the common area from your bunk as it is open concept. I was booked in for three nights but left after the first night. The other

The location of the hostel is excellent. I stayed in the 4 bed female dorm with ensuite (single beds so no bunk beds to deal with). The place is clean and provides all the basics of a hostel. BUT the place is in lockdown starting at 10pm and you don't have access to the common room, kitchen and fridge at night which sucks. Security: secure for employees who hide in their office, not so much for guests (multiple entrances accessible with regular keys). Wifi only in common areas - a negative.

Good hostel. My room was a bit noisy as it was right by the stairs, lockers and payphones. The only problem (and this is a personal preference only) is that they don't have ensuite rooms.

Hey Alice, True, the majority of our rooms are not ensuite, however I hope you would agree that all of our many bathrooms are conveniently located and private and clean. We do have ensuite private rooms as well if you feel like splurging on your next visit! Thanks for visiting! Canadiana

I stayed in two different rooms in the hostel. One was in a different building but was really clean and secure. The other one was right next to the reception and the door was really old so everyone struggled with the old style key, trying to open the door which ended up creating a lot of noise. The hostel is very close to the central train station and the staff is pretty nice.

Arriving an hour before check in, I was told to put my backpack in an room behind the vending machines. The room was not locked so anyone has access to it. In the room, there was a closet for the bags but a key was not provided. The room smelled moldy because the shower didn't drain properly so the bathroom floor was always full of water and wasn't very clean. The staff was curt and not help
