The Backpackshack

London, England

It's a nice hostel a little bit out of the main touristy area but close to the Piccadilly line which takes you to almost all the important place in London. I think all the rooms are all private which gives it more the feel of a Bed and Breakfast than a regular hostel. The people are somewhat older than in most hostels and there are more couples / families for which the private rooms are nice.

Agree with much of what you say George but most of the people are not somewhat older. Vast majority of our guests are in the 18-35 range which I think is typical for the hostel scene...

Granada, Spain

I did not stay in the hostel proper but in the small house they rent as a "private room". The house was located in a very nice place just behind the church of the village and was easy enough to get to the main hostel if needed.

El Clandestino

Granada, Spain

This is one of the best hostels i have ever stayed at. It is a little out of the way but the walk to the busy part of the town is just 10 minutes and it's nice to be away from all the tourists. Also, they had the best staff of any hostel I stayed at.

Circus Hostel

Berlin, Germany

You have to pay for internet!!! And breakfast! The common area is not cool enough so although the hostel is huge you won't meet the same people twice.

Samay Hostel Sevilla

Seville, Spain

It would be really nice to have breakfast included.
