good for 1 night stopover getting to/from airport. Staff were good and friendly.
thanks so much to the staff. wouldn't have made it to bucharest without their help. thank you
staff are old, but if you are patient with them, they are very helpful and friendly. breakfast was a good spread and worth paying a bit more than other hostels for.
female staff member was lovely. only stayed 1 night but comfortable enough stay
nice, laid back hostel. Chelsea was a welcoming and friendly host
don't know how to thank this hostel enough. Peter is one of the nicest people you will meet anyways. Can't recommend the place enough to anyone heading to Skopje.
space, so much space.
good place. little bit cramped though. staff nice
never met this jack character but didn't really matter. hostel was really good
staff super friendly. great place to stay
other reviews pretty spot on. not much atmosphere, staff OK. location is excellent if you need to get a train to mongolia. makes if very simple. i only stayed one night for train so placed served it's purpose
it was good.
good place, enjoyed my stay
one of the hardest places ever to review. on arrival you are given wifi password which is something involving outside food and drink not being permitted which i found to be pretty weird. the owner was nice enough and the pool and bar area was nice, just kinda had a strange vibe to it.
awesome place! highly recommend
one of the only real hostels in india. good place
one of the only real hostels in india. good place
one of the few bads things was getting stuck at this hostel. checked in for 1 or 2 days and stayed about 4. so many people check in and don't leave for weeks. it's a good place, highly recommend.
be careful what rate and website you book this place through if you wanna stay here. i paid 25% more than i needed to. during low season there was a/c places around for 300 baht and accom options everywhere, most of which prob aren't advertised on internet
really good place to stay if you just got a stopover in KL. it's real close to KL sentral station so very convenient to get bus in, crash night and head back out to airport next day. if you got longer term stay in KL then i dunno
good place no brekky and lacked powerpoints a bit in 4 bed dorm (2 powerpoints between 4 people) everything else good. staff very friendly and helpful
+ve: very clean, brekky included, Jean the staff lady is extremely friendly & helpful. Comfortable place to stay -ve: it lacked atmosphere a bit, most people in bed by 11pm on a fri nite. Stayed at JVs as well which had much better atmosphere
most things were good, nice old tibetian house. only minor problem were the walls upstairs in the bedrooms were extremely thin, was more like 1 giant dorm with thin wall dividers. thank you to the staff, very helpful and friendly
don't be a numbnut and go to traffic inn hotel like i did. once i actually found traffic inn hostel it was quite good, staff were great. not sure why breakfast finish at 12 (checkout not til 2) but everything else good.
the girls at the front desk were quite giggity. previous reviews were pretty spot on, rock hard beds and a lot of locals staying there. hostel was a bit outta centre but otherwise quite good. staff were very friendly and helpful. overall a decent place to stay at.
Aiko is 1 of the nices people u will meet anywhere. Extremely helpful. Accom is very cheap and good value for money. Highly recommend
didn't spend a massive amount of time at hostel to be honest but seemed pretty decent.
excellent hostel. makati city is one of the better areas of Manila. Just one hint: from airport, go upstairs and get taxi from outside departures. manila taxi drivers are pricks. force taxi driver to turn meter on or get outta cab. bring map so you know where you are going in case (i.e. when) he takes you wrong way. carefully follow instructions from OMP website to find hostel. can be slightly tricky.
Ed is a genuinely nice and friendly bloke. Once you get used to his personality (be warned, he loves a hug, no handshakes!) you understand that he is very passionate about his hostel and does his absolute best to make everyone's stay enjoyable. just 1 hint for seoul: book ahead for the Panmunjom tour. it's awesome but they needed 4 days advance notice to book. i was extremely lucky to get on due to cancellation. thanks for everything Ed, cheers
great place, owner manager was super nice and can speak about 4 languages. only downside is location, it's a bit outta the way from tourist attractions of osaka and airport. everything else was great.
has it's own bar with reasonably priced drinks. breakfast cost about an extra 680 yen but was a good spread and ran til 1pm. do the bike hire, great way to see kyoto.
pity i couldn't get my money back for last night despite 36 hours warning. unfortunately 'out of business hours'
LOCATION IS NO WHERE NEAR WHERE IT SAYS ON HOSTELWORLD MAP. Use hotel's own website to find location. apart from having trouble finding the place, everything else was good. has nice pool and staff were friendly and helpful. overall very good value for money.
place is a bit out of centre but not miles away. there was only a couple of people staying there while we were there so a bit quiet. the owner was extremely helpful and friendly and went out of his way to help overall very good value for money
Pros - good location. very good value for money. Cons - hostel split up over 4 floors in 2 buildings. very segregated and not really good place to meet other people. not much personality to it and staff OK but not overally friendly. Overall north point is a good area to stay, close to train station. rooms fairly small.
overall good and good value for money. only 1 minor problem was no shoes allowed in hostel which isn't a problem in itself, however when the shower is literally on top of the toilet it kinda feels like your sludging around a bit in the dunnies. Would recommend though, nice hostel.
Warning: no english speaking staff before 8pm, prepare for this. Andre, guy after 8pm is a very very nice bloke. Place is more of a guesthouse than hostel but is very cheap and clean. Figure out yourself if we wanna stay here. was perfect for us as a group, probably wouldn\'t recommend if travelling on your own though.
not a bad joint. close to main train station. free brekky and pasta/pizza at night was good and good opportunities to meet people. most of the staff were friendly but not always overly enthusiatic. air con was a big plus in summer as it\'s pretty bloody hot in rome. overall good.
only minor complaint was 3 showers between a lot of people. other than that really good, friendly place to stay. made to feel very welcome. def recommend.
had read mixed reviews about this place, overall found it to be quite good. Our particular room had no issues with thin walls although the beds were incredibly squeaky. location was good for getting around town via metro, staff were nice, breakfast was good for a hostel and design of hostel was nice. overall had quite a good stay here and would def recommend.
Absolute KFC variety bucket this joint. Breakfast on rooftop on a sunny day is amazing. toilets are a bit rank and cramped. the location is absolutely awesome. the room doesn\'t have a bin hence rubbish just lying around everywhere. also room only 1 power point between 6 people. resturant food is pricey but quite nice. staff we OK but seemed to be turning up to get paid rather than actually being interested in the people staying. the price is pretty good. you decide if you wanna stay
awesome hostel. Denis (the menace) is a unique character with very interesting stories. the facilities and rooms are great. def recommend. many thanks
the owner/manager (mıck molloy lookalıke) was one of the frıendlıest people we have meet ın turkey. hıs help and advıce was all spot on. don´t really have anythıng bad to say about the place. ıt was tops
the chick on the front desk is quite cute (i.e. 'beluga'). good hostel, good facilities. would def recommend this place.
This is a guesthouse not a hostel so people that complain about it not being fun are idiots. For £15 a night each we got a twin room with tv, sink and tea/coffee. I think it was quite good value. Location/cleanliness/security, etc are all very good and the place is quite good value I think. It\'s not a hostel so don\'t expect it to be particularly fun.
This place is good without being outstanding. One minor complaint, breakfast was something like 7-9am. it\'s a hostel not a nursing home, who seriously gets up at that hour after a night out? other than that it is fine and comfortable to stay at.
beds were quite comfortable. good location.
location was very good. only having reception open from 9am - 5pm isn't very convenient. place doesn't really have much of a hostel vibe, more of a hotel/guesthouse. 1 shower wasn't working while we were there, made it difficult to get a shower.
hmmm, where do I start. Directions were extremely in depth! The guy running it is fair dinkum of his chops. The location is good, for the price you pay the room are quite good. not sure why but we stayed the entire 4 nights at a diff location which was fine. breakfast is quite good. overall would recommend staying here but prepare for the fact its not going to be your average hostel.
hmmm, where do I start.
good joint. 1 or 2 of the staff were fair numpties but other than that all good. awesome spot, rooms are pretty good, brekky good. def recommend staying here. visit mcsorley\'s pub which is a few doors down, nice beer.
- no lockers available, spent first couple of days having to carry everything around - was great to have a bar but after day 1 we couldn\'t buy a beer as they didn't re-stock properly - little bit noisy at nightime. open plan of the hostel meant that noise travelled thru the place a bit too easily. other than that quite good. would recommend staying here, just a couple of things were a touch annoying.
only stayed 1 night but place was quite good. would def recommend this joint.
tops. if there's room stay here.
value for money is quite good. would recommend. little bit tough to find if you're driving to seville but other than that good.
place is basically just a 3 bedroom apartment. its really good, but if you get stuck there with a bad group you're probably not gunna like it. we had an awesome stay there.
we turned up and they didn't have room. didn't like the look of it to be honest. there are some awesome hostels in lisbon. best tip is to book well ahead and stay at a good hostel...or just head straight to lagos.
schweet joint. staff are very good. the brazilian lady that works here is off her head but extremely funny. def recommend this place.
really friendly place. if you are travelling to new york by yourself would def recommend this place. many thanks.
didn't like this place. too big for my liking, everyone kept to themselves and generally not very friendly. if you're travelling by yourself probably not the best place to stay. can see why other people might like this place though.
Ivan is an extremely helpful and friendly person. the place is clean and tidy. just make sure you know the address because there isn\'t a sign out the front (that i could see anyways) but other than that all good and nice place to stay
not a bad place but just be a little careful. the \'weekend\' rate is apparently $28 yet if you book online using hostelworld its still $22. i forgot to re-book and by the time i went down to front desk on the saturday the rate was $30 for a dorm and $28 for the sunday, yet i went downstairs to the computers and re-booked in for about $22. bit of a dodgey setup.
other reviews are pretty spot on. bike hire is good, go to this backpackers to hire bike even if you\'re not staying here. bathrooms are not very clean at all. staff are good but security is pretty poor, someone had laptop stolen while i was staying there.
