Greenpoint Lodge

New York, USA

Greenpoint Lodge definitely is a home away from home! Very cosy, clean and - speaking for the double private room - quiet place...just what you need after a busy day in NY. The owner and manager are both very nice and gave us some helpful advice about what to do and where to eat. There are some really good restaurants in the area and a 24-hour-shop as well as a subway station are just around the corner. All in all, Greenpoint Lodge offers great value for little money! We'll definitely come back!

Lu Palau de Antoni

Alghero, Italy

Very cosy little B&B with supermarkets just around the corner and really close to the beach (only 5 min walk). You get beach towels and umbrellas for free and Patricia - who serves a great breakfast - is an extremely friendly 'chatterbox' and offers all kinds of advice. The city center is in 20 minute walking distance along the shore...very nice walk! You can totally feel at home there!

Apple Hostels of Philadelphia

Philadelphia, USA

Very friendly staff, nice location. Even staying in a room with 27 (!!) other people wasn't that bad. Would come back!

The New York Loft Hostel

New York, USA

Overall a nice stay at this hostel. The location seems a bit shabby at first since there are almost only warehouses in the area, but it's still safe! Breakfast could have been better and the kitchen was a mess, but our room was very clean.

The Best Hotel

Milan, Italy

We had a great stay at The Best Hotel! The guy at the reception is really nice and helpful. The hotel is very close to the Central Station and the Metro from where you can get everywhere (for only 3 Euros per day). Our room was nice and we were lucky to have a balcony. The only thing I'd have to criticize is that it's really loud in your room when people in the rooms around you are taking their shower, and the breakfast could have been a bit more deversified...

Hostal Barcelona

Barcelona, Spain

Our stay at Hostal Barcelona was OK. The room was very clean and we had air conditioning. Unfortunately, the staff does not talk much English, so it was quite difficult to communicate...and there was no secured place to leave the luggage after checking out. You also can't check in before 12 p.m. which was annoying since we arrived there at 11 a.m. and had to while away the time...
