Lovely friendly hostel at the bottom of Mount Eden. The kitchen is huge and great for cooking. Lovely garden area to relax. Bathrooms shared but VERY clean. Staff (Sebastian and Jonathan) were really friendly and went out of there way to help.

Rooms are quiet and comfy. Showers and toilets clean. Lovely atmosphere lots of places to relax. Easy to meet people esp due to free group activities. Food good at the restaurant. Staff speak good English and give good advice eg re bus routes to take etc

Wonderfully helpful staff who were always friendly and spoke excellent English. They really went out of there way to help us. Much appreciated :) Great location on the edge of the Houtongs but close to the subway-2minute walk. We stayed in a double with private bathroom it was clean, quiet had aircon and the shower was good. The only slight downside for me was the lack of communal area. It has a lovely cafe but harder to sit and chat to other travellers than in a common room.

Lovely little hostel within walking distance from the train station (great for early morning departures). Walkable (15mins) to the main city square. Staff are friendly and speak excellent English. Good wifi works in the rooms and communal areas. Also 2 computers free to use. Really lovely communal area with huge comfy sofas kitchen and dining area. Great for relaxing and meeting fellow travellers. Free tea and coffee. Free hot and cold water from a purifier.
